Chapter 2: Making Ruby Happy

After your chat with Ruby yesterday you were in the living room sitting near the counter, you are a writer and are currently working on your latest poem you get finished with a few pages when you suddenly see Ruby coming down the stairs.

Y/N: "Good morning Ruby you feeling better?"

Ruby: "Yeah I'm feeling a lot better, say what are you working on?"

Y/N: "Oh it's a poem about a sailor crossing a very dangerous ocean, do you wanna read the poem?"

Ruby: "Maybe I'll do it later."

Y/N: "Well anyway, all I have is cereal for breakfast I hope it's enough to fill your hunger."

Ruby: "Don't worry It'll be fine."

After breakfast, you and Ruby sit on the couch with 2 bowls of Ice Cream for each of you as you turn on the TV to watch Netflix.

Y/N: "So uh...Ruby, what do you wanna watch?"

Ruby: "Anything is fine."

You chose a very funny movie to watch with her as the movie was playing you and Ruby were spending time eating ice cream, making jokes, and getting a genuine laugh out of the funny movie it was at this moment you saw Ruby's spirit lighten up a bit and decided to take her somewhere else to make her even happier.

Y/N: "Hey, Rudy do you want to go to the park?"

Ruby: "Hehe sure let's go."

You and Ruby went to the old park near the city where you and Ruby played together as kids.

Ruby: "Hey Y/N."

Y/N: "Yeah?"

Ruby: "Do you remember this park we used to go to as kids?"

Y/N: "Yeah, your right man those were good times."

During your time at the park, you and Ruby went to the swings you used to play at and sat on the swings slowly swinging up and down.

Ruby: "Hey uh Y/N."

Y/N: "What's up Ruby?"

Ruby: "Do you...like me?"

Y/N: "Umm yeah, why do you ask?"

Ruby: "It's just, I've never expected you to plan all this...the ice cream, Netflix, and now the park. I could only guess you are trying to cheer me up after yesterday soo...is that true?"

Y/N: "Umm...look I am just wanting to make you happy and not put you through that much stress."

The last words you and Ruby said made both of you look away from each other blushing, still swinging on the swings Ruby was getting a thought in her head.

Does Y/N love me?
