Is it so hard to ask for?

When will I finally get my chance?
When will I finally find someone?

Someone.
Anyone.
One.

That's all I'm asking. Just one.

Someone who won't give up on me.
Anyone who will look past the surface.
One person to just stay by my side.

I'm tired. Tired of being the only one.

Someone who doesn't give up on others.
Anyone is worth the fight in my mind.
One chance to love you for a lifetime.

So is it really that hard to ask for?
I'm tired of being abandoned.
