Leon's Adventures In The Hidden City

As Leon walked around the Hidden City by himself for the first time in around a month, he looked around only to realize he was lost. He thought about texting his brothers or Hueso to ask for help to get to an area he recognized, but, he doesn't need their help, he can find his way alone.

Leon's pov

'Well crap, I'm lost.' I think as I realize that I just went in a circle, again. I decide it's time to give up, I sit down in an alley and get my phone out to call someone when a group of Yokai walk over to me, "Hey kid, what are you doing here?" A fox like Yokai asks me "First off, I'm not a kid I'm a teenager, Second off, I'm sitting here because it's a public alley, I think-" I said as I fish my phone out of my bag to text Raph to see if he can come find me. "Well this is where we usually hang out, but, I guess you can stay here if you need." A cat like Yokai says as they sit down on a nearby box and begin doing something on their phone. The other three sit down also. I go to text Raph but see I have a couple missed calls from him, 'well I'm screwed.' I think as I press the call button next to his name.
"WHERE ARE YOU??? YOU SAID YOU'D BE HOME BY 10:30! IT'S 11:56!!! DID SOMETHING HAPPEN???? ARE YOU OK???" Raph yells over the phone, the group of Yokai all look at me, probably surprised by the extremely loud yelling coming from my brother on the other end of the phone, thanks Raph. "I'm fine big bro, don't worry, I just kinda, sorta.. got lost in the hidden city- I was gonna call you guys I swear!-" My explanation gets cut off by Raph, who is again, yelling. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT LOST!! YOU SAID YOU WE'RE GONNA GET PIZZA AT HUESOS AND THEN COME HOME!!! YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO EXPLORE BY YOURSELF!!!" Raph yells "YOUR SENSE OF DIRECTION IS HORRIBLE" I hear Mikey tune in. "Wow, thanks for the confidence, Miguel." I reply in a sarcastic tone. The cat like Yokai stands up and walks over to me, "Your lost?" They asked, I muted my phone because I know Raph will freak out if he finds out I'm sitting with a bunch of strangers in a creepy alley, "Yeah-" I say as I scratch the back of my neck, I hope this doesn't go wrong- "Why didn't you say so earlier? If you want we can get you back to Huesos, We hang out at his restaurant all the time!" Oh thank the pizza supreme in the sky! "Well when you lost you don't normally say that to random Yokai who chill in alleys-" I say as I nervously laugh "Understandable." The Fox like Yokai replies. "Follow uss, uhh.. what'ss your name?" A snake like Yokai asks "Leonardo, But you can all me Leon or Leo!" I answer "You can call me Lunar, The Foxes name is Spark, The Snakes name is Fang, and the Bats name is Goyle." The Cat Yokai, Lunar, Says. "Follow us, we can take ya back home." Goyle says as Spark and Lunar begin walking off, I follow them because, eh why not. I un mute my phone "Hey Raph Usagi found me, apparently this is the route he takes home, hes gonna help me get back to the exit! See ya soon buddy!" I say as I hang up my phone and put it in my bag.

After a while of talking they all exchanged phone numbers and Leon was put into a group chat, upon arrival at Huesos Leon had been informed that they're a local Yokai gang, 'well that explains why other Yokai have been keeping their distance I guess-' Leon thinks to himself. They say they'll see him later and if he ever needs anything he can just text or call, he says they can do the same, and heads into Huesos to get back to the sewers.
