Danny Phantom child!OC Insert

Chapter 3 part 1

"Grace stay still!" Danny said trying to put said girl's hair in a ponytail "but it hurts!" She said "I'm not even doing anything!" He said "combing counts as something!" She said Danny only sighed

after awhile he finally finished it having her hair in a ponytail wrapped in her white bow "why do you want a new hairstyle anyway?" Danny asked "because I do!" Grace said stomping her foot having ice hit the wall "oh come on Grace! I just fixed that wall yesterday!" Danny said she scratched her head nervously

"my bad Mr. Danny" she said Danny sighed "just...wait in the hall so I can get ready for school I'll fix this later" he said she nodded and walked out the room closing the door

(Time Skip)

Once Danny opened the door he sees Grace sitting on the floor with a bored expression on her face "come on let's go" he said and she got up and followed him out the door "so..can you possibly maybe... teach me how to control my ice?" Grace asked

Danny looked down at her confused "why me?" He asked "cause you're the only one that can see me obviously" she said "well it's better than you turning my house into a winter wonderland so..sure" he said she smiled and jumped with joy "yay! Thank you Mr. Danny!" She said and Danny gave her a small smile

(Time Skip - To the School!)

Grace was floating around the classroom bored out her mind as the teacher kept talking about some dance "hmm, hey Mr. Danny can I explore the school for a second?" She asked Danny and he nodded "just don't freeze the whole school" he whispered

Grace nodded and flew out the class making the room go back to normal temperature the teens in the class sighed of relief now that the cold was gone

Grace was flying around the halls of the school trying not to make any mistakes as she flew "this place is huge" she said and suddenly got a chill up her spine "another one?" She said with a sigh and flew back to Danny's class

"uh Mr. Danny..we have a problem" she said "you felt it too?" He asked she nodded "we'll talk about it after school" he said Grace nodded and stayed in the classroom having the other teens complain about it being too cold in there again

(At lunch)

The three teens and dead girl were now sitting outside eating lunch this time instead of eating inside the building Grace was laughing at the fact that Tucker kept failing to get a date to the dance "I don't know what the big deal is going to some stupid dance" Sam said

"because of fun food, music, and friends!" Grace said with a smile but as expected Sam didn't hear her and apparently neither did the boys cause they were staring at something or someone "what are you staring at?" Both Sam and Grace said and the only response the boys did was

"Paulina~" and the girls looked to see a girl with black hair walking down the sidewalk even a boy that was staring at her while riding a bike rode right into a tree Grace whence at the poor boy "that's gonna hurt in the morning" she said

"oh please Paulina? Girls like her are a dime a dozen" Sam said "yeah what she said" Grace said but in her mind she had no clue what Sam meant but the boys only dug in their pockets looking for some change "how much change do you have?" Danny said Grace laughed at this

"Haha very funny" Sam said sarcastically "just remember you can't judge a book by its cover" she said "well there's only one way to find out!" Tucker said walking to Paulina "uh oh" Grace said worried and turned to Danny who only shrugged and Tucker came back disappointed "dang.. rejected" Grace said Danny chuckled but played it off with a cough

(Time Skip)

While Danny and Grace were walking back home Grace couldn't help but ask this question "Mr. Danny what happened while this morning before I asked you to do my hair? Maybe that can help us find out what ghost came out the portal" She asked Danny began thinking and said "well see what had happened was..."

Flashback

Danny and his dad were in the basement working on the ghost portal trying to catch a ghost his dad handed him a fishing rod that could grab ghost and left to grab some snacks

right when he left the fishing line tightened and nearly pulled Danny in the portal he pulled back and the line snapped "oh no" he said and a dragon crawled out of the portal "problem, big problem" he said turning into Danny Phantom and fought the dragon kicking its necklace off and it turned into a lady

"all I wanted was to go to the costume ball, BUT MOTHER WOULDN'T LET ME!" She said before being pulled back in the portal "that was...weird" he said and walked back to his room leaving the necklace in the basement "hey Mr. Danny, can you do my hair?" Grace asked he gave her a weird expression "uh sure?" He said

End of Flashback

"Uh oh" Danny said Grace face palms and drag her hand down her face "YOU LEFT A POSSESSED NECKLACE IN YOUR HOUSE!?" She yelled "well what you would you do!?" Danny said "oh I don't maybe- CHUCK THAT THING BACK IN THE PORTAL WHERE IT BELONGS!" She said throwing her arms up Danny was about to say something but didn't "let's just find that necklace before someone gets hurt" was all Danny said

When they made it home they went straight to the basement only to see that it was gone "problem" Grace said "big problem" Danny says after her and they began searching all around the house "it has to be here it can't just grow legs and run away!" Danny said looking in the kitchen

"it's a necklace that was owned by a ghost, for all we know it FLEW away" Grace said looking in a cabinet "wait what did the lady say before it flew in the portal?" Grace asked stopping what she was doing realizing something "something about going to a ball?" Danny said "and when is the dance?" Grace asked slowly asked hoping he would catch on with what she was trying to say

"tomorrow night why are you-" Danny stopped whatever he was doing, he was finally catching on to what she was talking about "the ghost is trying to go to the dance tomorrow night!" The both of them said "you are one smart kid" Danny said "I know!" Grace said doing a sassy hair flip making Danny laugh

"now all we need to know is who has the necklace" Danny said in thought "can we worry about that tomorrow I'm tired" Grace said yawning "alright but I'll be doing ghost watch" Danny said she nodded and flew to Danny's room

"don't freeze anything in your sleep!" Danny yelled "no promises!" He heard Grace yell back he sighed "such a weird kid" he said turning into Danny Phantom and flew around town looking for who now owns the necklace
