"You're progressing fast." She placed her hand on Jisoo's shoulder, massaging the stiff area, dragging her forefinger to her neck subtly.

"O-oh. Thank you. I- I would actually like to discuss it with the other professors in the field if I do get past the defense. I'm just squeezing my time here before I graduate." Ms Kim smiled, now moving her head to the back of Jisoo's neck. Jisoo let out a helpless low moan, enjoying the feeling of Jennie's hand wrapped around the back of her neck.

"If I would recommend something in your research," Jennie whispered, low and deep, "I would like to work with you in the future, Ms. Jisoo. You're very good at your work and I just know we'll work well together." And after that, Ms. Kim's hand was gone from her neck. But before she left, she whispered, much lower and deeper, "Follow me after class. I have something to consult with you." And she was walking away from Jisoo.

Jisoo breathed out heavily. She has to regain her focus or else she wouldn't reach her goal. But her mind keeps going back to Ms. Kim and her words that she wants them to work together and following her after class. Jisoo already can't take it when she's in her class with a lot of people. What more if she's left alone with her?

She couldn't get anything done when the bell rang. Ms. Kim glanced at her once before dismissing the class. Jisoo went out of the room, waiting for Ms. Kim in front of the door. Since it's already night, there are less students, usually the ones who borrow the labs or computer areas. Ms. Kim followed suit, dragging Jisoo to who knows where.

Ms. Kim entered a studio. There was a small bridge between the buildings of the science and music students. Ms. Kim pushed her on the table, her hands resting on the edges as she leaned into it.

"I'm gonna be straightforward to you, Jisoo. I don't know if it's my delusions but I hope we're on the same page." Ms. Kim breathed out. For the first time, she saw her tense? And nervous? But Jisoo was a nobody. There was no reason to be nervous or tense around her.

"Do you like me?" Jisoo opened her eyes wide. Was she too obvious? Was this a question as in liking her as a professor or as a person?

"I mean, yeah. You're a really great professor. I'm learning a lot from you even if I only got to know you for a semester. And-" Ms. Kim put her hand up to stop Jisoo from talking.

"Not like that. As a person, Jisoo. As someone that could potentially like you too. With feelings involved, Jisoo." Ms. Kim stepped closer to her. Jisoo couldn't back away because she was trapped between the table and her professor. And Jisoo glanced at her. Her eyes were soft and nervous, waiting for Jisoo's answer expectantly. She has to be honest, right?

"Yes... I like you. Not as professor Kim or Ms. Kim. But as Jennie. I realized it when I asked for help from you. You're funny, smart, and you care about me, not only my grades." Jisoo breathed out. If she was to tell her the truth, might as well tell everything.

"I was awake, you know? When you wrapped my jacket around my shoulder when we transferred to the library, I felt that. I also felt you fixing my things and arranging them so I wouldn't have a hard time when the library closes and it's time for me to go home. And you think I don't know? The coffee every time I get in my seat, I know it's you." Jennie was

surprised. She thought she was being subtle about it, especially considering the number of whispers she has heard about Jisoo, about how smart and beautiful she is, about how they like her cold exterior but kind heart.

"How...."

"Because you're the only person I told about that. I don't have a lot of friends and most of my closest ones are in a different department and schedule than I am. I mentioned that in the library then the next day, it was there on my table. I was doubting at first but it only happens during your class. So if you're wondering if we're on the same page, then I think we are, only if you like me too." Jisoo breathed out heavily. She never knew that all these pent up feelings would lift the burden off her shoulders once said. The professor removed her glasses and tucked them in her bag.
