C ~ XVII ~ Training 🦖🦕

Start from the beginning

"You've barely done anything with this creature, just because you were pretty much the first person who constantly interacted with her, doesn't mean that she's gonna be completely nice to you, have you not met the raptors?!" Owen scolded Y/n for the aditude.

"She isn't a carnivore, the raptors are! There's a difference you idiot!" Y/n rolled his eyes, turning his attention back to the dinosaur that look disgusted by the two bickering infront of her.

"She probably doesn't even recognize you, plus you've changed things about yourself since you last saw her as well!" Owen groaned, giving up on trying to stop Y/n and moving back from the two- holding his head in his hands.

"Oh hush, since you wanna be bitchy then I'll just do the training myself." Y/n shook his head, slowly lifting his hand in attempt to pet the creature.

"Yeah right, if you do the training yourself; you won't see your boyfriend in a few hours." Owen huffed, crossing his arms and facing Y/n who was still attempting to pet the dinosaur.

"Pfft- yeah right. If I don't turn up within a few hours he'll be worried as hell." Y/n rolled his eyes.

The dinosaur bellowed as Y/n's hand finally made contact with her, causing Y/n to move his hand back almost instantly. After she lowered her head again, Y/n moved his hand back to pet her once more.

"If she bites you, I'm gonna laugh harder than you did when I told you about my date with Claire." Owen sighed, moving closer to them.

"I don't think that's possible, I was literally crying and couldn't breathe when that happened." Y/n rolled his eyes, starting to scratch the Parasaur's beak area- earning a low 'purring' sound from her.

"I know we just got here but we should probably wait until tomorrow for training with her, we have to get her back to an enclosure anyways." Owen's mood suddenly changed from the normally cheery and sarcastic one to a more serious and concerned one- slowly backing up from the two.

"What? Why?" Y/n hesitantly moved his hand from the Parasaur who looked almost more concerned than Owen.

"I think one of the carnivores got out-"

A low hiss was the only thing Y/n needed to know Owen wasn't bluffing. He hesitantly turned his head around to see the source of the noise, his stomach dropping the second he notices the carnivore. A yellow-ish Dilophosaurus was standing no more than 100 feet away from the three, tilting it's head curiously.

"Owen-" Y/n tried saying but it was barely audible from the sudden fear that washed over his body.

"Just head towards the Gyrosphere. It doesn't look hungry but we never know and don't really wanna startle any of the dinosaurs, even if there are barely any in the area.." Owen moved forwards slightly and grabbed Y/n's arm- guiding them both back to the Gyrosphere as the Dilophosaurus seemed to move ever so closer.

After a difficult walk back to the Gyrosphere and an even more difficult time trying to slowly get in without looking away from the dinosaurs still within range of them. Y/n buckled himself after Owen and moved his arm to steer the Gyrosphere, which seemed to trigger the Dilophosaurus. It hissed again as they started driving off, and seemingly started chasing after them.

"Why the hell is there a Dilophosaurus in the valley?!" Y/n shook his head, still confused but now a new fear had struck him.
