Chapter 1: nocturnal like-lights

"The city from up there is so pretty! From the advertisement to the light, to even well, everything is something a person should think of. A new opportunity awaits there!...but something's missing....what could it be?" A scientist said to himself. It seems like he's pacing left and right, thinking about something. But at the same time, he's been also talking to his creation that's about to become a reality soon. "Aha! I know what's missing! It's you! You can bring much more heights to the city! So that the people can really say your name!"
"Brute!"
Just then, a person, also known as brute, woke up by his name called out. Just to see that he's in an lab, although it looked like it's abandoned and caught up in an explosion. There's a mirror by the other side and decided to walk up to the mirror. What he saw was himself. A red chow chow that seems to be wearing white short sleeve and almost a light tan shorts. Brute saw his arm and one of them was robotic. "What in the?...where am I? What is this place?" Just before he can ask more questions to himself, he saw the door that looks like it can lead him out of this place. But as he was doing that, he was having flashbacks. It was about that scientist talking about a city and other stuff. Brute made it out the old lab and into the alleyway. But as he tried to head towards the light, his flashback become worse. He saw red lights flashing and the scientist trying to do something to stop it. But as he was trying to do it, there was another voice talking to the scientist. But before further actions were about to be put, an explosion came in and the flashback ended. Brute tried to go back to reality and saw the city. There were advertisements, food, rides, everything a person would dream of. Brute wanted to ask questions but he decided not to and walked while looking at the city.
