"Unlike you, Jiang Yue Lou is not a coward."

*

Jiang Yue Lou didn't sleep well that night, and one cannot miss the big dark circles under his eyes when he got up early in the morning. Sun Yongren and Song Rong kept winking at each other secretly while eating breakfast but Jiang Yue Lou didn't seem to notice them.

"Song Rong, after dinner go and try to find a way to get Miss Cheng to work with us."

Song Rong and Sun Yongren looked at each other, "Boss, Miss Cheng doesn't know me so how can she trust me? It's better to ask Doctor Chen to talk to her."

"Yes, yes, we should let Doctor Chen take care of this." Sun Yongren echoed Song Rong, pretending not to see Jiang Yue Lou's ugly face.

Jiang Yue Lou threw the chopsticks back on the table, "Then if you can't help with this! Think of a solution yourself!"

Before he finished his sentence, someone knocked on the door. Two short and one long knocks. Sun Yongren jumped up and opened the door as quickly as he could.

Chen Yu Zhi was standing at the door with a calm expression as usual, "I walked in a hurry yesterday and forgot to leave you my keys. I was afraid that it might affect your movement, so I went to the apartment of Miss Cheng instead."

He leaned to the side, revealing Chu Ran who was following behind.

Chu Ran was wearing a simple and elegant cheongsam*. She walked into the room, looked around the small apartment curiously, and then looked at Jiang Yue Lou, "Is Mr. Bai feeling better?"

Unsure if Chen Yu Zhi and Miss Cheng heard their conversation, Jiang Yue Lou was a little embarrassed, "I'm okay, thank you, Miss Cheng, for your concern."

"Great," Chu Ran smiled and nodded. "Hearing you just now from outside speaking with such confidence, I knew you fully recovered."

Sun Yongren chuckled and Song Rong almost couldn't help himself.

Chu Ran met Chen Yu Zhi downstairs of her apartment. He had a grim expression on his face and didn't seem to have slept well.

"Were you waiting for me?"

She greeted him. Chu Ran always had a good impression of this young doctor, with his good medical skills, good heart, and courage.

Chen Yu Zhi nodded, "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

Chu Ran had no class this morning, and it was early. The two of them walked slowly on the street in the early morning.

"You want me to help?"

After listening to Chen Yu Zhi's words, Chu Ran was a little surprised, "You are the one who told me not to be involved in this matter anymore."

Chen Yu Zhi scruples before nodding, "I know that such a request is excessive, but I still hope you can help, you work in the Blue coffee shop, and I promise the things you will have to do, will not arouse suspicion."

"You are asking me to help you kill people." Chu Ran pointed out without avoiding it, "And, you said yourself, you still have doubts regarding this issue, so why should I agree to do it?"

Chen Yu Zhi stopped and a hesitant look appeared on his face.

"Say it," Chu Ran stared at him, "You aren't the kind of person who doesn't care about human life."

Chen Yu Zhi thought for a moment, and then made up his mind to speak, "Last night I checked all the medical records that I could find from the past ten years about the patients living in the slum who were treated in the free clinic near Shengdetang by Doctor Qiu."
