Bad day at school

I reached the bathrooms, I got into a stall and completely broke down crying.
Everything from getting up late to Kendall pushing me was just too much for me to handle today, I needed to get home.

I was trying to calm myself down so I could get out of the stall and clean the food off but no matter what I tried I just couldn't compose myself so I decided I would just try and call Scar hoping she could help me.

I brought my phone up and pressed on her name in my phonebook

"Hey Scar?" I said through sobs

"Hey sweetie are you okay? Are you crying?"

"I'm n-not o-okay, I've had the worst f-f-f-fucking day ever and now I'm in the bathroom stalls c-c-crying, I want to go home but I c-c-can't stop crying" I say in between sobs and hiccups

"Oh baby, want me to come pick you up? I'm on my way home I can be at the school in 5"

"Y-y-yes please, c-can you please come inside to the bathrooms on the west side? By the cafeteria?"

"Of course baby I'll be there in a minute, see you soon. Love you."

"Love you"

and with that we hung up

Scarlett's POV

I was speeding on the highway trying to get to Nova's school as soon as possible, I know she has a hard time in school especially with Kendall but I've never heard her sound this broken and it's very unlike her to go home early so I knew something bad had happened.

I pulled into the parking lot, parked my car and started jogging towards the bathrooms she was in, as soon as I opened the doors to the bathrooms I could hear faint sobs coming through one of the stalls.

"Nova baby?" I said walking closer

She opened the door to the stall and I was met with an awful sight.

Her eyes where bloodshot from crying, her cheeks where puffy and red and she was covered in food from top to bottom.

My blood started to boil as I realized someone must've thrown food at her for this to happen.

I took off the coat I was wearing and gave it to her so she could cover her shirt that was stained with food and as soon as she put the coat on I engulfed her in a massive hug

"Oh baby girl are you alright? What happened?"

"I really don't want to talk about it right now, can we just go home?" She said in between sobs.

"Of course baby"

We walked out of the stalls and Nova proceeded to wash her face in the sink to try and look somewhat normal.

- Time skip to when they arrived at home -

Scarlett's POV

The entire car ride home Nova wouldn't stop crying, I tried to comfort her and talk to her but she just kept saying she wanted to be alone so after a few minutes I decided to just be quiet until we got home.

Once we got home she ran straight to her room.

I decided to stay downstairs and let her calm down on her own, while waiting I took out my phone and ordered some food seeing as I don't think she ate any at school.

About 15 minutes later I decided to go up to her room to try and talk to her, when I got up the stairs her door was already open so I just walked in.

The dirty clothes where on the floor and
she was laying in her bed in a tank top and some shorts

"Hey baby, can I come lay down with you?"

"Sure"

"Do you want to talk about what happened today?"

"Not really, can you please just lay here with me for awhile?"  She said looking up at me

I laid down beside her and opened my arms and not even a second later she laid ontop of me and melted into my embrace

"I love you, thank you for picking me up"

"Of course sweetie, I love you too. I ordered some food, what do you say about just laying here until the food arrives and then we can go downstairs and watch some movies?"  I say as to rub her back

"Okay, can we watch We built a zoo?" She said with a cheesy smile

"If you really want too, sure" I chuckle

"Thank you, you're the best"

"You're the best, you know I'd do anything for you" I say as I kiss her head

"Except drive me to school when I'm late" she says as she laughs

"hey! I was busy!" I say as I start to grab ahold of her from under her armpits

I flip us over so I'm now ontop of her, I start tickling her sides and since she's so ticklish she absolutely freaks out

"P-p-please noooo I'm sorry I was joking please stop" she says in between laughs

"Nope" I say with a grin

She keeps pleading for me to stop and after a few minutes she's crying from laughter and panting like a fool so I get off her and lay back down besides her.

"You're horrible" she says as she turns and looks at me

"I know you love me"

"Maybe" she says as she climbs ontop of me so that we resume to the position we where in before the tickling began

We lay like that for awhile until the doorbell rings

"That must be the food, let's go downstairs" I say as I kiss her head and start lifting her off of me

The rest of the evening consisted of us eating food, watching movies and cuddling, she hasn't told me what happened at school yet but hopefully she will another day.

I love her more then life itself and I don't ever want to see her like this again.
