"I think it's time to go," Draco sighed. Claire let out a small whine as she sadly stood up.

"Have fun, lovebirds," Theo called after them.

"Fuck off!" Draco yelled back.

"They're never going to stop," Claire said softly, playfully bumping their shoulders together.

"Maybe if I start teasing Nott and Zabini about the way they act then they'll stop," Draco suggested. "I'm sure there's something going on there."

"But isn't Blaise seeing Astoria?" Claire questioned. She knew that Blaise and Theo are often together and flirty with each other, and she had thought that they seemed to like each other, but that was something that a Pureblood would never admit.

"Kind of," Draco shrugged.

"Kind of...like you and Daphne," Claire said softly. Draco glanced at her out of the corner of his eyes.

"Her mother is trying to get us engaged. But I'm sure you already know that Daphne isn't exactly interested in me. Parkinson and her mum and dad are still insistent in the two of us getting married after school. But I just want to be with...with myself for a while," Draco explained.

"I'm sorry," Claire whispered, not understanding how parents could be so horrid to their kids. Draco just shrugged, a sad look on his face.

"Let's run away after we graduate," Claire suggested. "Let's go to France and learn French and hide there for years."

"I already speak French," Draco reminded her.

"I can have Sirius teach me French and then we're almost there," Claire joked.

And with the way Draco was looking at her in the moonlight, she just wanted to run away then and there.

"Hermione, we need to leave now," Claire whispered again to Hermione. They were in the Room of Requirement with the rest of Dumbledore's Army, all of them trying to practice as many spells as possible.

"Harry says that he put some extra protection out just in case," Hermione assured the girl.

"Mione, she's coming tonight," Claire said forcefully.

"Lupin, just chill. Harry has it handled," Ron said, but he looked a little worried too, his eyes scanning the room.

"Harry just doesn't want to leave Cho," Hermione sighed, glancing over to where the two were awkwardly flirting. Claire frowned with concern, but she didn't say anything.

"I just don't understand that. They flirt like twice and then kiss, and now what?" Ron questioned.

"Just be happy for him," Hermione chastised. Ron looked a little upset, his jaw tense and his eyes flittering over the many students. A pain went through Claire's head and she gasped.

"Duck!" Claire shrieked. Not a second after, a loud explosion went out through the room, many students yelling. Claire blinked, her ears ringing.

"Run!" Hermione yelled. Claire stumbled up and tried to run, but a piece of the wall had hit her in the head, and a stream of blood was streaming down into her left eye. She cursed and tried to lean on the wall, letting it guide her through the rubble towards the door.

"Claire, c'mon," Blaise muttered, his eyes scanning the room as he rushed to her side, guiding her out of the room. "Umbridge can't know that you were here."

"Thank you," Claire gasped.

"Go!" Blaise ordered, shoving Claire into Ron and Hermione, who hoisted her up as they followed the many other students to their common rooms.
