chapter three; running out of time

the brothers stood in silence as their friends glared at them. the silence at that moment was painfully loud. 

"well"

dongmyeong said, crossing his arms. the brothers continued to stand in silence as their friend's eyes pierced into them.

eventually, hyungu cracked and explained everything. from his perspective at least. from waking up in the other world to the discovery of the symbols.

in one breath he explained taehyun not being the one from this world, his memory loss, this world's taehyun, and the other world's hyungu being trapped  

the silence was louder than before. they could tell a select few didn't believe a single word he said. 

everybody stood there slightly stunned until hongjoong broke the silence

Hongjoong: "ok, let's say everything you just said is true, you're telling me you three were planning to enter another dimension that supposedly nobody else knows about, alone without telling anybody?! are you trying to die?!"

he said, raising his voice. 

Yeosang: okay, when you put it like that-

seonghwa: what other way can we put it?

soobin: as much as I hate agreeing with captain hook and his crew, he's right, this plan you three had is stupid

hongjoong: did you just call me captain hook?

soobin: is the sun bright?

hongjoong: you little-

seonghwa: leave it Joong, captain hook is hot anyways

hongjoong: I'm gonna act like a didn't hear that

yeonjun: anyways, what I think they're trying to say is, we're not letting you do this

yonghoon: alone

yeonjun: yeah...wait- huh?

harin: if the three of them are working together to get this accomplished then it must be important. so me, myeong, hoon, and giuk will put aside the fact that we can't stand your brothers to help you

dongmyeong: well your brothers from this world, this taehyun is kinda chill.

hyungu: wait, are y'all being for real?

giuk: duh

beomgyu: same goes for us...right?

kai: of course

soobin: without a doubt.

yeonjun: ...sure..?

jongho: we wouldn't be very good friends if we left you to die now would we

the three brothers smiled. They all sat together and listen to a theory yeosang had. 

he said he noticed the symbols only glowed when a specific sibling went near it, shining brighter the closer their hands got so he thought they should try touching them all at the same time

he suggested splitting into 3 groups in case it takes them to different places if the gateway opens.

they decided that group 1 would be taehyun, yeonjun, yunho, dongmyeong, jongho, and soobin,

group 2 would be hyungu, giuk, kai, san, wooyoung, and mingi, 

and group 3 would be yeosang, hongjoong, yonghoon, beomgyu, harin, and seonghwa

group one will stay where they are, where group two will go to the one in the music room, and group three will go up to the roof.

before they could all disband dongmyeong suddenly requested to talk to his friends in private then grabbed them and pulled them away from everyone else before anyone could accept or deny.
