Chapter 1

November 6th 2017 (flashbacks)

Today was your first time stopping through Michigan,

It was all apart of your trip you and your brothers took. You had two older brothers, 24 & 23.
Preston 24 and Jc 22

You weren't too far behind. You were only 18

So far the trip has been a yearly thing for a few years now. Each year was a different destination, this time you were going to visit Preston at his college in Michigan

"Alright y/n, I got the snacks last time. Go get me a monster and some jerky"
Jc was pumping gas while looking up directions to the nearest town with hotels

You walked through the gas station picking up everything your brother asked for , eventually getting your arms full

As you went to pick up the monster you dropped your chips on the ground , along with the bag of jerky

"Shit"
You mumbled to yourself

You set everything on the ground and looked around looking for a worker

You tried your best to pick everything up and carefully set it all in the cashier table

While waiting for the cashier you hear the bell ring to the door

You turned and saw two long haired boys walk in

One with long black hair, the other with long brown.

You quickly started to looking around for the cashier
Not wanting to keep the boys waiting

"Be right there "

Finally...

A guy, who looks around 23 walked around the corner , his eyes were blood shot

"Sorry lil lady, I had some ... situations to handle"
The guy gave a small giggle while he slowly scanned my items

You heard the two boys come up behind you

"Lenny! What's up man!" The boy with brown hair half yelled to the boy .

They both went around the corner and started talking to him

Are you serious..

The guy went from slowly scanning to now just talking to both the boys about absolutely nothing

You were looking around debating on wether or not to walk out looking out the door at your brother

You felt eyes on you and turned and noticed the dark curly haired boy looking at you

"Hey, I could ring you up if you like"

He gave a smile which was actually really nice

"Yes, please and thank you"
You returned a smile and watched as he scanned the last few items

"Total is $30 even"
You handed him $30 and a extra $10

"That could be your tip, I really appreciate your help"

"Wow thanks, this happens more than you'd think"
Referring to his friend

We both laughed and I noticed the boy with brown hair Looking at me as well, smiling at the situation

You grabbed the two bags and started walking out

"Hey, she was pretty cute"
You heard one of the guys say as you were walking out

You walked to the car to see your brother impatiently waiting

"The hell took so long?!"

You watched as the two boys left out the gas station laughing

"Nothing, the cashier was stoned and took forever scanning the shit "

"Here, tell me the directions to go to. I found a hotel nearby "

"Frankenmuth?"
You questioned

As you two slowly drove off, you decided to give another look back at the boys who were next to their van throwing candy into each other's mouth

You pointed them out to your brother

"Hey, is that how you and Preston are?"

He looked to his left after Turing out the lot

At the taller boy who was now using drum sticks to hit whatever candy was being thrown at him

Preston laughed at the boys and shoot his head in agreement

You tried to relax a bit while waiting til you arrived to the hotel
