"Musa I know about your mum but haven't you got anyone else any other family"riven grabbed her arm's stopping her from doing another sit up

Musa looked up at the sky to trying to avoid eye contact but riven new what she was doing he pulled her chin down to look at him

"Muse it's ok" he pulled his hand away gently

"Well my mum is gone and my dad abandoned me after she died and let's see they were both only children my grandparents are dead I have no one riven so no it's not ok last Christmas I was trying to hide in my dorm when farah found me and took me to her home so no I'm not getting picked up by my family and I don't get to celebrate any stupid family traditions I have no one" Musa finally let it all out after an entire months of avoiding the feeling building up in her it finally exploded she loved her friends but hearing all about there family's Christmas was harder than she thought it would be

"Muse my dad was a drunk I only ever saw him when he wanted something from me and my mum jumped ship as soon as I was old enough to look after myself"

"Meet me at my dorm tomorrow morning with your stuff then we will sighn out" riven called as he got up

"Okay" she agreed she felt exited her and riven had been really getting close he was one of her best friends but when he locked his green eyes with hers or his hand lingered for a second to long it didn't feel like friendship at all but that was not the point this was just two friends spending Christmas together

It had been a few hours since Riven and musas agreement and Musa realised she needed to talk with Farah

Musa walked to her office and politely knocked on the door until she heard a voice

"I am actually I just wanted to let you know that I will not be joining you this year" Musa felt kind of guilty but she needed this

" could you tell me where exactly" Farah questioned again

"I'm spending it with a friend " Musa knew that Farah wouldn't let her off the hook this easily but it was worth a shot

"It wouldn't happen to be a specialist that has been really keen to do the fairy specialist training would it"Farah raised her eyebrows

"Yes I'm spending the brake we are close friends" Musa nodded

"Trust me I have been there" Farah smiled slightly thinking about her time at alfea with Saul
