Eugene woke up with his head on the table. Papers about the case of Eugene's brother, Dain, were all over the floor, table and even Eugene's face. As his eyes were still adjusting to the light, he heard a quiet knock on his front door. A tall man walked in and greeted Eugene.

"Good morning, i see you've been working all night again." The man said with a gentle smile

The man who walked in was Jonah. Jonah was Dain's best friend. When Dain went missing, Eugene had no where to go, so Jonah let him stay in the apartment above his cafe. Eugene got up from the floor and followed Jonah downstairs. Jonah gave him a cup of coffee and a donut to start the day. Eugene sighed loudly after his first sip of the coffee.

"Is it not to your liking? I could make a new one for you." Jonah said, assuming the sigh was because of the coffee.

"It's not the coffee. It's work..." Eugene said. "I've been stuck on this one part in my book for what feels like an eternity, so i decided to focus on a different project, but now that's a dead end as well!"

Jonah sat down next to Eugene who was staring blankly at his coffee.

"Maybe if you read everything over, you'll understand why your stuck or maybe you'll find a solution." Jonah said, as he took a sip from his own coffee.

considering that Eugene didn't have a different solution for his problem, he decided to listen to Jonah and reread all the info he had gathered the night before. After about 3 hours of work, he finally found his first lead.

"Michael, 24 years old..." Eugene said as he read the file of a mysterious man. Apparently, he's the son of a mafia boss who frequents a bar called: "Death & Company"

"Well, i know where i'm going tonight." Eugene said as he finished reading the file.

That night, around 11pm, Eugene was sitting in the back of the bar, keeping an eye on the loud group sitting in front of him. In the middle of the group, sat a handsome young man who seemed to draw everyone's attention. Eugene looked away for 5 seconds to order a drink, and when he looked back at the group, the man in the middle was gone!
