Everyone's gone on without you, have you noticed?
The rain stained on the old glass got washed away that night when you cried.
When the leaves hanging from the branches stopped dropping, stopped growing at all.
The sun stopped rising, stopped trying just like you did, and the stars can't fall far enough to reach you now.
The kids playing in front yards grew up, but you didn't did you?
Isn't that lovely?
You're still here?
Still turning the pages, obliviously. Stupidly.
Only for your body and the ground to meet each other one last time,
Before everything goes dark and earth no longer is.
