This is my first written story so apologies if it isn't good^^
This story is about Yamika and Hiro. They live in a world where magical creatures exist. Yamika is a vampire while Hiro is a human.
Yamika helps Hiro escape from a prison, but he stays...
I'm living in a world full of supernatural beings, like humans with different kinds of magic but also vampires and other mythical creatures. There aren't a lot of people with magical power, just around 10% of all human beings are able to use magic and just a few of them actually know about magical power.
The existence of magic and mystical stuff isn't widespread in this world.
You will find a lot of cities with a high rate of unnatural occurrences. The police often handle this stuff without making it public. They keep it for themselves to protect the people living in these cities, because when they would know everyone would be in panic. That's a reason why just a small part of the population knows about it and the people who are informed mostly have a negative view of mythical creatures, especially of vampires.
Besides, these kinds of creatures aren't able to use magic. Every human with magical abilities is losing them when they get transformed into a vampire. The people who know about the magical world know this fact very well.
Nonetheless nobody knows there's a few vampires who also have the ability to use magic and because of this they're able to hide better among the humans.
Demons, also known as Oni, are the creatures who are more feared and hated by humans than vampires, but they are rare and even rarer to find. Most people fear Oni because of the powerful magic and strength they have according to legends and myths. Except for the legends and myths, nobody was able to inform about Oni and that's making them so rare.
I am Yamika Sukenaka, part vampire and part demon with magical power and this is the beginning of my story.
