Hello and welcome! Firstly, I want to thank you for your interest in my story! Secondly, I want to give you an idea of what you can expect before diving into this book. I'm going to be completely honest, I never thought I'd be writing a Classroom of the Elite (COTE) fanfic, and yet here we are...lol. After watching the anime I quickly noticed the lack of COTE X Reader fanfics. Therefore, on complete impulse, I've decided to write what you are reading now. Don't worry, I've already planned out the plot for both Ayanokouji and the reader...for the most part. Which leads me to our next order of business...the characters!

Now, as I'm sure all of you are aware, there are many characters and therefore many different personalities in COTE. I will do my absolute best to keep all characters...well, in character. I want this story to be immersive for all of you, and that isn't really possible if people don't act the way their supposed to. That being said our main character, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, is an exception since he's the reader's love interest. I personally don't believe that Ayanokouji is capable of genuinely loving someone as he is "now" (in the anime). But this is an xreader so I'll have to make some tweaks to his usual thought process/behavior.

Ayanokouji is complex in EVERY sense of the word; mostly because he's so unreadable. But again, I'll do my best 😭 I am fully aware that the creators of the COTE anime wrote Ayanokouji more coldly than his manga and light novel counterparts, so I'll try to pull influence from all 3.

Please keep in mind that the plot in this story will follow the anime (at least up until the 2nd season) I picked up reading the manga where the anime left off but the story doesn't get far. As of now, there aren't any more chapters available for me to read. Sooo, I decided to start reading the light novel where the 2nd season left off, but I haven't gotten far. For now I plan to wrap up the story where they ended the anime.

Another thing I want to point out, is the sheer lack of information we have concerning Ayanokouji's past and his relationship with his father. Even in the manga (from what I've read) they don't really tell us shit. I can only assume they planned to reveal more later but we don't have the patience for that now do we?? So, for the sake of our story, I'll have to make up some stuff, (I'll try to keep it minor) but that's the beauty of fiction after all!

Last but not least, while I am always open to constructive criticism, I won't tolerate any bashing of this work in the comments. The same goes for comment interactions and interpretations. Just be nice to each other please. While there are some characters I very mush dislike in COTE (*cough* Kushida *cough*) the same goes for them...though I might let that one slide. Please feel free to discuss the story and it's characters amongst yourselves in the comments all you'd like, so long as you're respectful. This is supposed to fun after all!

One more thing! Any comments found that mention spoilers about either the story or the anime will be deleted. Please don't be that person. Also, please let me know if there are any typos or grammatical errors in the story and I will fix it.

I apologize for this long intro! There was just so much I wanted to communicate to you all before the story started, since I don't like to leave authors notes in the chapters. Well that's all for now, enjoy the story everyone!
