It's Halloween a day where kids can be what they want and go trick or treating
Sadly, something the kids in the lab couldn't experience. Instead they get a free day, a day a child shouldn't have to earn
They get treats that some of the orderlys bring

You take your bag and get in your car driving away to work

You walk in the lab
Front desk lady:good morning Y/n happy Halloween Y/n:morning Deborah likewise
Peter:good morning Y/n:holy shit Peter where did you spawn from Peter:I've always been told I'm sneaky, anyways, you'll be working with me today in the rainbow room
Y/n:I thought I was working on laundry today Peter:Papa- Dr Brenner said we should work in rainbow room since it's Halloween the children will be there Y/n:okk thanks for letting me know
Peter:I can walk you to the locker room to drop of your stuff since, some of the staff here are perverted like Hugh, seriously who names they're kid that Y/n:well thanks Peter I guess you can accompany me
He smiles at you, his first genuine smile
You and Peter start walking to the elevator to go to the basement where the locker room is
You slide I your key card and the doors open, you and Peter step inside
Silence fills the atmosphere
A very familiar comfort settles
You've felt this type of silence but you can't put your finger on it
It's almost like the silence with Henr-
The elevator dings and the doors ope. Snapping you out of your thoughts
You and Peter walk out into the hall and look for the door with "locker room" on it
Peter:so where did you live before moving here Y/n:well I was born here but I got adopted after my parents...passed ... But I had to move to Cali and that's where my two kids were born Peter:I'm sorry about your parents Y/n:it's ok.. it's not your fault
