I honestly contemplated whether or not to include this, but I think it's important, so I'm going to.
This story includes very mature issues, such as various kinds of abuse (specifically physical, mental, and emotional), as well as the PTSD and trauma that comes from these abuses. Personally, I don't think it's super graphic, but that's not for me to decide. There is also a birthing scene in one of the flashbacks, which is very nonspecific and, in my opinion, non-graphic, but again, that's not up to me. As someone who's dealt with childhood trauma, I wanted to make sure that I portrayed it correctly. However, if I get anything wrong, please let me know so I can make it right.
With that all being said, in my very biased opinion, Lousy Little Pest! is a great story about healing from childhood trauma, (and a good old fashioned treasure hunt). Nevertheless, if you think reading about these issues might trigger you, I'd advise you to skip this story and find something else to read (Gothel's Greatest Gift is a lot more lighthearted, but also has its moments).
