VI: Amnesia

The doctor just bought a can of coke from the vending machine, the nurse then goes to her

"Dr Myoui, have you checked the patient from the V.I.P room? She still hasn't got any visitors for a week, how can we find a way to contact her family?" She asked

"I'll find a way, let's go check on her" Mina said. They went to the patient's room, Dr Myoui looks at the patient

"The woman who brought her to the hospital last week was in a rush that we didn't got to get her name, I hope she comes back for this patient"

"I have met her before but I didn't get to ask her name.."

"That explains you letting her stay in the V.I.P room despite of her not paying the fees yet" the nurse said

Some time ...

Mina just finished her shift and was walking to the hallway to leave the hospital when she passed by a room, she stopped and went inside. Mina approached Y/n lying down the hospital bed

The man who attacked Y/n that night hit her head multiple times and now it caused her not to stay awake for a week. Nayeon brought her to the hospital but never came back for her, while Mina couldn't help but feel pity for Y/n

"You went through a lot of hard times, didn't you? Please wake up soon and you promised me something.. you wouldn't be able to do that if you're here" Mina said

Meanwhile ...

Nayeon is in the interrogation room and being interrogated by a detective

"Did you know your former boss is involved in illegal business?" The detective asked, Nayeon shook her head

"He's a sex trafficker and his gang is the biggest one in this country, I'm hoping you're gonna cooperate with us" he said

"How's your wife? Is she well?" He asked

"I don't know.." Nayeon said

"Go visit her, I'm gonna let a detective assist you on the way there"

"It's my fault, If I didn't applied to that company and didn't got myself into trouble then this wouldn't happen"

"Then help us hunt down his gang and he'll pay for what he did to your wife, you won't be punished and be seen as a witness"

Next day ...

Mina visits Y/n's room again, just looking at her quietly. Then another doctor comes inside the room as well

"Mina"

"Dr Park" Mina bows

"You kept on coming here even if she isn't your patient. You know her, don't you?" He asked

"Sort ot, I met her for a brief moment" Mina said

"How? Dating app?"

"Just somewhere"

"Then you should inform her family or friends, I'm sure they have no clue what happened"

"That's the problem, I didn't got her name" Mina said

Meanwhile ...

Jeongyeon and Jihyo went to the house and sees Nayeon sleeping at the couch, the living room is messy filled with empty beer cans

"This house became filthy after Y/n left" Jeongyeon said, the two approaches Nayeon and wakes her up

Nayeon lied to her friends, she just told them that Y/n and her seperated and left the house. The detective suggested it to ensure Y/n's safety while the people responsible for it is not yet caught, the lesser people know, the better
