i hate school

Started off as a normal day, I get ready for school right, I walk to school, I enter the gym and sit on the bleachers, bell rings, I go to class. New student. Name? Thalia Grace. Short black hair, blue peircing eyes, freckles. Pretty, scary glare too.

She sits in the empty seat next to me, studying me. I turn the oppisite direction.

"Hey." She says.

I turn back around to her. "Hi.." I manage to get out.

"Do you like this school? Actually..do you like school?" She askes me.

"No and no."

She smiles in this evil plan sort of way.
"Good." She suddenly stands up holding a bow and a sack of arrows. "Follow me." She leads me outside the class room, heading towards the exit of the school. Theres a loud boom and an explosion, almost knocking me off my feet.

"THALIA GRACE, THERE YOU ARE!" A loud deep voice rattles somewhere behind us.
I glance at Thalia, she looks no where near concerned about this.

"The door won't open!" She exclaims.

"Those are locked, all of them are, except the roofs but-" She pushes me up the stairs. I look back and see a giant, hairy, black...thing, with horns and claws the lenth of my arm. I run up the stairs, Thalia hot on my heels. I push open the doors and run to the side of the building, I look down. "What now?"

Thalia breathes in and out deeply, she looks down and curses. She looks back. She breathes heavily and takes out a small gernade looking thing. She throws it down, it suddenly turns into a net, she sighs and looks back once more. The monster catches up to us and growls. I panick and push her off, I jump off, both of us landing on the net. I look up, then around us, then at Thalia. She's breathing hard, her eyes big.

"Dont EVER do that again, you hear me?!" She screams at me. I nod, she runs into the woods behind my school, scared, I chase after her. She stops and aims at the beast, I continue running, not sure where to go.

"Make a left!" Thalia tells me, she runs behind me, looking around, scanning the trees. I bump into a girl, about 12, she too has a bow and arrows.

"Sorry, sorry." I help her up.

"My lady, more are after." Thalia says to the 12 year old girl. I try not to laugh at the thought of this.

"Yes, take," she eyes me "him to camp half blood, leave him at the barrier, they will get the message and let him in. She says him like its a sinsistery.

"Woah hold up, Imma girl." I pull down my hoodie and look at the small girl.

"Oh... Well take her to the camp, wait with her until they have let her in, makes sure she gets there safely." She orders Thalia. Sexist? Or break up? I follow Thalia through the woods. For what seems like ages, I finally break the silence.

"So the girl, she must really hate guys."

"Well shes had bad experiences and she's a maiden goddess as well, she used to be able to tolerate boys, until.....never mind, we're here." She arubptly says. I look around and see cabins, I look further out where I see a beautiful lake and strawberry fields. I take it all in. I see teenagers with long swords, or short daggers, both deadly, I see some sparring and some shooting at targets with bows.

"What is this place?"

Thalia smiles as if remembering good memories. "Camp half blood." She dreamingly says. She frowns at the sight of kids running towards us.

"I have to go."

"Why?"

"I'm not good with people." And with that she's gone. I take a step forward, I hit a invisable object and fall back, I brush my self off.

"The barrier." I murmer. A boy with shaggy dark hair runs up to me, touching the barrier, he had beautiful sea green eyes. He looked 17.

"Come on in." He said with a husky deep voice. A girl with blonde pretty curls ran up behind him, she had grey stormy eyes, also about 17.

"Move seaweed brain, hi, I'm Annabeth, and this is Percy," She points at the boy, " Welcome to Camp Half-Blood." I walked towards them.

"What is this place, why am I here?"

"Well, no time for questions right now, first things first, pick a weapon of your choice, you'll find out your godly parent sooner or later, for now you chill at the Hermes cabin, kill monsters and train, now go on and try not to die you little dissapointment." Percy said.

"Seaweed Brian!," She punches him in the arm, "Ignore the idiot, he's just stupid, first we'll get you a weapon, then take you to Chiron." I smile and nod. She leads me off to a building in the middle of the "training" areas. I look around, admiring the architecture. We walk inside, she takes me to carts fun of weapons. Daggers, swords, blades, bows and arrows, spears, so much weapons, I grin evilly at this.

"How many can I take?"

"Which ones do you want?"

"Well..." I pick up the bows and arrows, along with a dagger a sword and grenades.

"Woah... Okay I dont you'll need the grenades, or the sword, you already have the dagger."

I shrug and put them back. She was right though. We walk to a cabin in the middle of the others.

"Chiron, this is the new demigod, she's an orphan really, runs away from foster homes and goes to boarding school." How much did this girl know about me. "Her name is Chelsea."

A man in a wheel chair rolled towards me. He had a blanket covering his legs.

"Did you say demigod?"

Annabeth nods. "I'll be in the Athena cabin if you need me." She leaves.

"You mean all this Greek mytholgy ish is real?"

"Yes, please take a seat." He gestures to a couch. I sit down hesantly.

"Here we train to kill monsters, they kill you, period, they can sense you, the more powerful you are, or you godly parent is, the easier they can smell you, the smell doesnt just wash off, ask Percy himself," he pauses for a while, "You go on quests from time to time, be nice to other demigods, there are only a few compared to all the monsters, if you ever see a really happy cyclops around camp half blood, along with a harpie named Ella, dont kill him, hes a good one, hes Percy's half brother. For now you will stay in the Hermes cabin, until your godly parent claims you, you can stay for the summer or the whole year, your choice, go to training and to dinner, keep your cabin clean, there will be inspections, you will sometimes have kitchen duty and don't miss camp fires, alright?" He informs me.

I breathe in and nod. He dismisses me and I go inside the Hermes cabin. I go to an occupied bunk. And lay down, I didn't notice how tired I was, I fell asleep.
