Chapter 23: First Update.

Such a question could not be figured out in a moment. Cheng Qingyin couldn't ask the answer from the male ghost, so she focused on finding someone to deliver money.

They went to the former company of the male ghost wife and asked her good colleague before they found his wife's new home.

It was a rental house in a village in the city. A gray-haired old lady was watching TV. On the bench next to her sat a child of about two years old.

The old lady looked difficult to get along with. She frowned at the sight of Cheng Qingyin: "What are you doing?"

Cheng Qingyin:

"I'm looking for Zhou Fengmei. Does she live here?" Zhou Fengmei is the name of the wife of the male ghost Li Jianfeng.

"She is my daughter-in-law. Who are you?"

Cheng Qingyin lied that she was a distant niece from Zhou Fengmei's hometown and wanted to find her if she had something to do.

"She's going to work. I guess she'll be back in an hour. Wait."

"I heard that she is sick. Do you still have to go to work now?"

The old lady curled her lips when she heard this:

"If you are sick, won't you go to work? You can't rely on my son alone to feed!"

When the male ghost Li Jianfeng heard this, he couldn't help pinching his fist.

"It's too much. Fengmei is sick. They not only don't treat her, but also have her to go to work!"

One person and a ghost waited outside the rental house for more than an hour. Sure enough, she saw a woman in her thirties, with a waxy and thin face and a very haggard look coming back with vegetables.

Li Jianfeng looked at her, and then at the cabbage in her hand, he was very distressed:

"Why did you lose so much weight and didn't eat some good food? How can you eat cabbage!"

Cheng Qingyin walked up and whispered:

"You are Zhou Fengmei, aren't you? I'm your ex-husband Li Jianfeng's distant niece. I have something to find you."

A little surprise appeared on Zhou Fengmei's numb face, and then calmed down again. She whispered:

"Let's go outside and talk."

Seeing that she had put down the dishes and was about to go out with Cheng Qingyin, the old lady immediately said unhappily:

"If there is anything wrong at home, I have to go out and say it. If it's so delayed, my son won't have to eat when he comes back from work!"

Cheng Qingyin frowned. She had never seen such a family. The old lady had sound hands and feet, but waited for her terminally ill daughter-in-law to come home to cook after work, and she was not even allowed to go out to talk.

However, Zhou Fengmei seemed to be used to it. Mu Mu said authentically:

"Then let's talk about it here."

The parties concerned have no problem. What can Cheng Qingyin, an outsider, say? She just came to help deliver the money.

"Li Jianfeng is my distant cousin. Our family owes him a favor. Before his death, he said that if you have any difficulties in the future, let us help you."

This excuse was on the way here, so I discussed it with Li Jianfeng.

"A few days ago, I heard that you were sick and needed 200,000 yuan for treatment, so I sent you the money."
