Chapter 1: Lost Camelia

The Royal family of Riverdale consist of the following: The King, Zhusk Francisco, the Queen, Selene Fransisco, the eldest daughter, Camelia Francisco, Ace Francisco,the second child, the second daughter, Celina Francisco,and the youngest children, the twins, Dusk and Dawn Francisco.

Camila, who was only 20, was next in line for the throne, it should've been either Dawn or Dusk, but her mother said that rivalry might brew with the two if one of them was chosen or not,so they chose the safest option.

Ace, although he should be next in line, decided that,that wasn't the best route for him, his parents understood and gave the position to Camelia,with the twins being the next option.

Life in the Palace wasn't easy for the 'Queen-to-be', despite the busy schedules, she finds time to visit her friends in the village. According to her friends, she's the kindest of souls, referring to her as an 'angel'. Although it may sound exaggerated,that is the mere truth.
Camile isn't one for fame or money, she wants to live a normal life, well close to normal that is.

She would gather up her friends in the village square, sing,talk and do all sorts of things a Princess wouldn't usually do. She's widely known in the village,and people respect her, as she's the one who mostly spends time in the village to get to know her citizens better.

Whereas, the other four children, stays at home, as their parents wouldn't allow them to interact with the outside world. But that doesn't mean that they didn't catch a glimpse of it though.

From time to time, Dusk and Dawn would join her in her adventures in the village. The twins enjoyed it, a lot,but their happy times is just about to end.

On the night of the full moon comes a festival, known as the Blue Moon Festival, everyone in the village has their houses decorated,and each family had a feast,as the Blue Moon Festival is a celebration of a prosperous harvest,to end the Summer Solstice.

It was also the night of unexpected winter, snow fell from the sky, covering up the crops and fields, everyone in their homes were unprepared for this sudden change of weather.

The cold winter breeze filled the village, they closed their windows,shut their doors, and prepared the fireplace, however those poor villagers who has nothing,only uses a small candle stick to light up,and warm their homes for the cold winter night.

On the next morning, the sun shined brightly, melting the snow and once again revealing the lush green grass,and blooming flowers. The Royal family were gathered in the meeting room, but there was one seat empty, and that was Camelia's seat.

The family just assumed that Camelia was asleep, so they continued on, however when it ended without Camelia there, the Queen grew concerned.

"Dusk, go check on your sister and wake her up." Selene said, Dusk the blonde haired twin nodded and walked away to go to his sister's room.

When he arrived he knocked on the door and waited for a response, a few moments later, no response was heard, worried, Dusk opened the door only to see nobody inside. In a rush he ran outside and called out for the guards. The 15 year old observed the room, noticing that it has been untouched.

This worried him even more as there have been cases of people of all age and genders disappearing the past few weeks. And to think that it has been happening more frequently. Dusk actually feared that something like this would happen to someone in the Royal family.

He was thankful- though it may sound wrong that it wasn't his parents that disappeared without a trace,it was only because he didn't want his sister to take over the throne so soon.

Guards came into the area along side the King and Queen,and without even saying anything, King Zhusk knows the drill, he knows what he's supposed to do. There's no need to wait any time longer,things like this have been happening frequently,and not just in their Kingdom,but also in neighboring Kingdoms.

The King gathered everyone in the throne room,from the maids,to the knights, to the scholars who work for the Royal family, the wizards, and the priest gathered in the throne room.

"I hearby declare that our Kingdom shall be on Lockdown,Gates are to be closed at all times, the barrier shall be watch over at all times. People shall not leave the Kingdom unless given permission by Prince Ace, The Queen, and or Me. Everyone is to stay inside of their houses, and could only go out if it's important. We will lift this Law once Princess Camelia is found,now, my people, go and spread this across the Kingdom, let them know of this rule!" The King announced, everyone in the room bowed and left to share the news to everyone.

"Halt!" Prince Ace yelled, getting the attention of most of the attendees.

"Our King has additional information." He added, looking over at his father he gave him a firm nod.

"Those who have seen,heard or found anything about My daughter, Camelia's whereabouts shall be rewarded greatly." He said.

Everyone nodded as they once again bowed and left.

The entire Kingdom was left in a fuss, and  everyone was looking for Camelia in hopes of gaining the Royal family's favor.

Later that day, Dusk and Dawn decided to have a "Walk" in the village to see if everyone was following the rules, when i  reality they were meeting up with Camelia's friends,and their friends as well.

Meeting in a small forest just near the gate, the friend group gathered and collected each other's thoughts, about the new rule, and about Camelia.

"Did she ever visit you,Blaze?" Dawn asked, Blaze shook his head.

Blaze Valir 23 years old, is one of the strongest knights in the Kingdom, although he's not high in rank, he is well respected by the people and the Royal family. He is also Camila's love interest.

"I recall her saying something about Mystic Cavern or whatever yesterday." One of her friend, Louisiana Claude, said.

The group fell silent as they tried to focus and think as to where Camila might've gone to, nobody has an answer, and it will go on for weeks on end...
