The night went by pretty uneventful. Kev came back over; we turned the music up, got some beers and shot up some zombies in Call of Duty. The perks of your best mate living only 3 doors down. Things we're going pretty well, not much conversation was going on but we've known each other long enough for our silence to be comfortable. The round ended so we both took advantage of the break, grabbing our beers and sculling another mouthful. We both put our beers down at roughly the same time but unlike me, who went back to the game, Kev leaned over to turn the music down.

"What's up?" I asked, knowing that the only reason he would turn the music down was because there was something he wanted to talk about.

"What do you think about Chase?" He asked randomly.

I furrowed my eyebrows, thinking about it for a few seconds before responding, "Who's Chase?" I asked confused. I don't think I know a Chase... Do I?

"Shit yeah that's right" he chuckled, "I haven't told you his name yet. Teegan's Irish friend. I asked Skye and she said his name is Chase." As he said this, he glanced it me over his shoulder.

"Ahk" I nodded, "Did she tell you anything else?" I asked, suddenly intrigued.

"Yeah - dammit!" he yelled as he got killed causing me to laugh at him. He punched me in the arm, almost making me drop the controller and die myself.

"Watch it!" I exclaimed, "Making history here!"

"I'm dead! Does it look like I care?"

"Well then get good scrub" I muttered under my breath. I couldn't help but smirk as he glared at me from where he sat.

"I'm going to pretend you didn't say that" He stated coldly. I chuckled. "He's actually Teegan's neighbour", he continued; changing the subject back to Chase, "Been really close friends since he moved here from Ireland 4 years ago."

"Close" I repeated, "How close?" I asked teasingly, wiggling my eyebrows at him suggestively.

"That's what I asked!" he exclaimed, "She just laughed at me and said "No Way?"... What the hell does that mean?!" He threw his arms up into the air.

"Strange" I mumbled, thinking about it for a few seconds. "Maybe he's ugly?" I suggested, voice laced with uncertainty.

"That's what I thought" he admitted, "but I didn't ask. You know how Skye is when it comes to her friends!"

I couldn't help but laugh out loud at that. If I haven't mentioned it yet, Skye is Kevin's sister. Twins to be precise, not identical but twin's none-the-less. She was born first though and he is constantly reminded of it. She is just about as attractive as a girl as Kevin is a guy. She's absolutely gorgeous. Long chestnut brown hair with streaks of golden blonde, perfect height and curvy in all the right places. But as Kev has made perfectly clear, absolutely off limits. She's one of the most elegant and charming girls you'll ever meet... but get on her bad side or insult one of her friends and you'll know about it. I swear she's scarier than a poltergeist in your closet on laundry day.

"Besides," he continued, "Nothing wrong with a little surprise" he shrugged. I nodded though I could tell it was bothering him. I can hardly blame him, if he was close friends with Imogen for 4 years then I'd be worried too.

"He's Irish so he's gotta love a good drink, right?" I grinned, changing the subject.

"He better!" he laughed, "Though I've also heard they love potatoes... You think he loves potatoes?" he sounded serious so I gave him a strange look before focusing back on the screen. He cracked up laughing and I couldn't help but join in on it.

"Who doesn't" I replied, still laughing. "So, where's this magical adventure taking place?"

"Remember that place the my dad always took us not too far from here?" he asked.
