The Rock. I can't believe I'm going to the Rock. It's the Rock! The best gymnastics club in the country and I'm so happy me and Roxelle both got in. My names Ruby by the way and my twin sister is Roxelle as you already know. We have been in gymnastics for years but have never had such a great experience as this.
"Ruby, do you know where my painkillers are? "
"They are in the draw under the sink I think! " I shouted back to Roxelle.
Roxelle needs painkillers because of a very servere gymnastics injury a few months ago. She broke both of her knees very badly and they had to operate. She's only just getting over it, so she was very lucky to get into the Rock.
When I was 8 I broke both my elbows by falling off the beam and landing on my elbows. I had an operation on one and a massive cast on the other .
It took me a long time to recover from that, like it's taking Roxy a long time to recover with her knees. Btw we call her Roxy for short and I'm Rubz for short.
"Come on girls it's time to go! " shouted our Mum.
I legged it down stairs!
