Chapter 5:

I woke up to the cacophony coming from the kitchen. With my arms outstretched, I then looked at the wall clock. It's 7:13 now!

It's been a week since I've been through Tristen's house. I wished I have read his mom's book, unfortunately I forgot to bring it when I went back home.

I unplugged my phone's charger, remembering today was supposed to be my first day in senior high. Good thing my arms are fully recovered , and all I ever have to do is get in to my typical morning routine and walk towards school.

After getting on my morning routine, I changed my clothes with black loose long-sleeved crop top, and paired with a tight high-waisted blue jeans. I braided my hair, grabbed my bag and I was all set to go downstairs.

I found mom in the kitchen and kissed her on her cheeks. Yeah, she's a good woman, except when someone breaks the house rules. She used to be a really solacing woman until she got into her gambling. But i do understand her, and I still thank her for being the 'unbiological' mother who never fails to provide my needs. She asked me to eat breakfast with her and Rita, but didn't say yes so for I'd be late.

I took my blue bicycle from the backyard and was about to go out of the gate when I saw Tristen waiting outside with his red shiny porsche.

The thought of him being in front of me causes my heart to throb like it could've ruined my entire ribcage. I mentally smiled, and watched him as he got out of his porsche and took off his black sunglasses.

Woah was the only word I could ever think of. His eyes looked darker blue now. I gulped. He wore his black leather coat like a sexy rockstar and his hair was a beautiful mess. To watch him this way seemed like a really critical mortal sin. He's the most quintessential mammal I've ever laid my eyes onto. Damn!

Alright, snap me back to reality.

Tristen waved at me whilst he smiled. "I can ride with you towards school." He shouted.

I nodded and got into his car normally... normally like the dragons in my stomach were peacefully asleep when as a matter of fact they're not. To say he was perfect would be an understatement. He was something more.

"We're going to the same school now?" I asked. No, it can't be. He used to go to prestigious schools before. But- how? Well, whatever the reason is, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with me. Or should I hope not.
