While drinking my flavorful brewed coffee, I start to look at myself in the mirror. I see my beautiful brown hazelnut eyes, wavy medium brown hair, and rounded red lip wearing a black fashionable and elegant dress outfit. As I heard the crowd noise, my talent manager called me to prepare for an interview. I wasn't used to being in front of the camera. As the interviewer starts the show, I nervously but joyfully introduce myself. She begins to ask about my music career and my new single. Since high school, becoming a musician has been my greatest dream.
As I begin to sing my song, the crowd goes wild. I see my supportive family and friends sing along with the melody. Yet, I see someone that seems to be familiar. As I get closer, I realize it was Joel, the guy I loved since high school.
He was the reason I became passionate about my career. We supposedly are on the same stage now because we used to the duets since the first year of high school. I remember everything about our happy memories, but there was a sad scenario about our relationship because we enforced to break up by my parents due to young love. They told me that being in a young relationship can turn into a broken dream because my parents had the same experience. Yet, after a few weeks, I saw him dating another girl for him to ease the pain of being rejected. I was still downhearted for how many years after he broke the promise. After the show, my family and friends went up to my dressing room to congratulate or show their pride. My mother told me that Joel was there at the venue and he wanted to talk to me. As he entered the room, all the people left the room. It is just me and Joel alone.
Joel: It's been a long time I haven't heard from you. You changed a lot. Btw, how was your life with your family?
Chloe: Yeah, I think I have changed after our relationship ended. Also, we have a better life with my family. How about you? I heard that you've been promoted as the what do you call that?
Joel: Oh yeah, I became the head accountant manager in our company.
Chloe: Congrats. I am proud of you. Btw, what brings you here?
