On one of his afternoon walks, he saw an arcade, fully packed. Out of his curiosity, he entered. It was his first time, yet it amazed him.

He didn't even realized that he was using his abilities and his fingers was moving very fast.

"Woah." A voice said, Naveen didn't turn to look around. He needed that high score.

Unfortunately, he lost. The named Naveen can be seen in second place, replacing a player named Dustin. He wants to defeat this player named Max. It was amazing that this player achieved a high score like 750,000.

"You're fast." He turned around just to see a boy, his hair was curly like his sister, "but I do not appreciate you taking my place."

Naveen looked at the screen of the console and back to the boy, "You're Dustin?"

"Yeah. My turn."

For the next days, the rivalry turned to friendship. What he didn't expect is him asking for a favor that soon. He waited for him at the pole. After seeing him, they did their hand shake that they practiced before.

Naomi appeared and Dustin explained everything to them.

They helped them build a safe place while waiting for Dustin's monstrous pet. Naomi was trying very hard to protect him. While they were being attacked, in the state of panic, he knew that he was supposed to step on Steve's bat but he didn't. He shrugged it off as something not important to think about.

They failed.

They were now hiding at Joyce Byers' house. His thoughts running around at everything that happened earlier.

"Are you okay?" Naomi asked him. He didn't get answer, actually, he didn't hear her at all, "Naveen?" She called him out and touched his shoulder.

"Hmm?" Naveen flinched and looked at her.

"I asked if you were okay?" She repeated the question, "is something wrong?" She asked.

"No, nothing. Just overwhelmed." He said.

Overwhelmed about the idea that there are big chances that he'll die tonight.

"We can go home if you want." Naomi suggested.

They can't go home.

"What? No. We just stay here and help." He said and walked towards the group who started talking about the monstrous creatures back at the lab.

The best way to help them is for me to dissapear.

A plan was formed. Naomi volunteered to help Hopper and Eleven to the lab. He didn't know why.

Now he was stuck to the kids and Steve. It was.peaceful until the kids started theorizing and making a plan to help the adults.

Steve denied the plan and started talking about benches until they heard a rumbling of an engine.

That car seems familiar.

Because it was. The person driving was the one who drove Naomi home after the party days ago.

Steve went out to try to question him why was he here. The blonde pushed Steve to the ground and bursted through the door and a fight was brewed.

Out of rage, Naveen jumped in the fight and helped Steve.

At the end, Max injected her step brother some medicine that they used for Will.

Every thing happened so fast, the next thing Naveen knew is that he survived as he crawled himself out of the tunnel.

A wind blew harshly in their faces is what caught their attention. Naomi landed on the ground, her eyes glowing red.

"Naveen, we have to go." She said and grabbed his hands. Readying herself to fly when Naveen ran away from her.

"No." He said, now at the side of the car. He knew what he needs to do.

"What the hell?" Steve and the kids exclaimed, didn't exactly know about his abilities.

"You're not safe here. We have to go." She shouted, "Eleven couldn't close the gate, we have to go. Now!" She said.

"Eleven couldn't?" Mike asked.

"Then make her do it." Naveen announced. Leaving everyone confuse. His heart pounded after seeing Naomi freeze.

"What?" Naomi asked.

"Make her do it. Make her close the gate." He said. "You have to do it, so do it." He ordered sternly. Naomi's mouth went agape.

"You knew." It was not a question. It was a statement.

"You knew all along, didn't you?" She asked. Naveen walked close to her and stopped right in front of her.

"Do it, Naomi." He said. Naomi shook her head.

You have to do it.

"No."

"You have the power to decide whether to close the gate or not. You have to close it, Naomi." He said.

Close it, Naomi.

"Don't." Naomi said, tears started springing out of her eyes.

"You have the power others don't, you have to kill me, Naomi." He announced. The others eyes widened.

"I can't." She whimpered.

"You can. You can do it, please." He said and touched her face.

"Naomi, let me go."

Don't make this harder as it already is.

Naomi sobbed after hearing what he said.

"It's my decision. You promised, right?" He said to her. Naomi closed her eyes and walked back. Sobbing as she curled her fingers to let some red force out.

He nodded at her and the next thing he knew is that Naomi's force began drilling in his head.

It didn't hurt.

Just like before.

The last thing Naveen said before he disappeared last time is that how much he loves her as his sister.

"I love you." Young Naveen mouthed at her.

"I love you."

Whose to say he wouldn't say it again?

Naveen gasped as he sat on the ground. He looked around. Everything is red. Leaves, roots, ground, grass. Everything.

It reminded him by someone.

"Welcome back, Nave." He turned around just to see his sister smiling at him causing him to smile back.

"Nami."
