It was a slow and gloomy stormy night, the lights were flickering in your house because of how bad it got, you whimper, being scared of the lights flickering, so you run out of your room and to Mark's room.
"Mark?"
He turned around tiredly, "Hgghh, what.. huh..?" He faced you.
You didn't even notice the tears of fear in your eyes, "What's wrong, hun?" Mark quickly sat up. "You're crying.."
"I am? I didn't notice..." You reply honestly, "Well, what's wrong?" He shuffles up and to you, gently holding onto you, "My lights were flickering, it's storming too hard... I hate stormy nights.." you just, cling onto him.

"Honey..." You'd bury your face in his shoulder, as he kept his arms around you safely, giving tight hugs. "I know nights like these can sometimes be terrifying, and I know after a few encounters you're scared of the dark... but.. I promise, you'll get over it eventually."
