REUNITED

"Well Stevie seems like you've sobered up" Alex said sarcastically

They stayed in the bathroom until the movie ended and the crowds came bussling out.

"Ok and... blend" Dustin said as they all tried to blend in to big groups while staying together.

"Alright now all we have to do is get on the bus with these plebes and home sweet home" Dustin said

"Uh Dustin yeah, we might not wanna go to any of our houses"

"Why" he whispered to Steve

"Oh because this overdosed baby over here told them all our address not just yours forgot to tell you that bit" Alex said flicking Steve's skull

"Dude I was drugged"

"So was I"

"Yeah but you have superpowers!" Steve proclaimed in a shouted whisper

"Guys." Robin said stopping us all

In front of them were the Russian guards from earlier they tried to hid there faces but unfortunately were unsuccessful

"Abort"

"Abort abort!" Dustin yelled as they made a getaway to the opposite side of the mall

Alex's leg was not helping him blend in i fact it was making him stand out a lot

His limp made him slowly then the rest of the group and his ribs were definitely broken

They slid down in between the escalator Alex wincing as his ribs made a connection with his knees

*TIME SKIP*

Currently the group were now hiding behind a food stall counting as guards searched the area

They dare not breath making sure to not give away their position.

All of a sudden a car alarm went off

Alex squeezed his eyes shut at he let out a wary breath

The noise continued on for 1 minutes until a loud crash was heard including the groans and cries from what sounded like the guards

They slowly lifted their heads to look at the damage that had been caused and saw dead bodies laying on the floor in front of them

As the scoops troop looked up they saw the rest of the party looking down on them

Alex let out a smile of relief as he saw Max,Lucas and El safe. They smiled at him back and for a once in a very long time Alex felt hopeful

The scoops troop walked up the escalator to meet the treat of the team. Alex was the last to arrive and everyone took a look at him and had a worried look on their face.

ALEX POV:

As we walked up the escalator I was holding on to my stomach as I limped my way across the room

As soon as I got they I was engulfed in a hug.

It was Max, I quickly hugged her back. Stroking her hair, gosh this was the most comfort I had felt in ages

Her hair smelt of chemicals but a tad bit of vanilla. Her head was in the nape of my neck and I felt water fall on my shirt

"Hey max I'm fine, ok don't cry, I'm fine" I told her trying to reassure her

"I missed you" she whispered

"I missed you too" I told her in the softest voice I could
