I spoke to her in a tender voice, rubbing her head with his free arm while holding her with the other. Seeing her grip loosen, I pushed her out of her shell further.

" Do you see that beautiful lady behind me?"

I stretched out my land towards Emilia , Pointing at her with my index finger. Emilia opened her mouth in surprise, blushing at the statement. The girl moved her gaze towards Emilia.

" I'm going to tell you a secret... she is actually a Princess!"

I whispered in her ear , making sure my voice enough audible for Emilia and Reinhard to hear it.

" R-really?!"

She whispered back at me , excitement dripping from her words. I grinned at her , closing my eyes and with a smile-

" And a beautiful one in fact!"

Emilia never thought she would hear this word directed to her ever in life, continuously hated by nearly everyone because of her uncanny resemblance to the witch, Anyone complimenting her looks would be considered a fool or insane, but hearing those words come out of Rimuru's mouth..

She felt strangely warm in her cold heart, which she thought melted a long ago when Puck defrosted her. She felt a mystifying feel surging throughout her entire body, she stood speechless , but not even her deepest region of her heart held no rejection to such feelings, but the opposite itself.

'Rimuru.. you are such an peculiar person, You befriended two persons you knew absolutely nothing about in a second, and made Emilia-sama delighted in one statement despite being a stranger and you held no conceal intentions... Can you also make me feel... content again?"

Reinhard's region of his heart which held hope, that she thought had long died along with his grandmother shined a small but bright ray once again.

" and I'm a Lord , Rimuru Tempest himself , and Reinhard is a knight. We are both helping Princess Emilia on a journey to retrieve her gem from a thief"

" WOW!!!" She almost screeched in excitement, reading about such adventures, princess and knight was different in tales. But to experience it first-hand is even more amazing and exciting.

" And upon hearing you cry, She couldn't resist coming to help you! And now we're on a quest to help little YOU to unite with her parents!" I jovially said, Giving a small smile.

" So may you please tell us your name?"

" My name is plum! Plum Risch!"

" What a coincidence! I know a man named Kadomon Risch, an appa selling merchant and mean-"

"Meanie looking but a good guy! He is my Father!" Rimuru's word were exhilarating to little Plum's ear.

I got up from my position and lightly gripped Plum's hand with mine, Plum beamed at me.

" Who does you want to hold your hand, Plum? Reinhard or Emilia?" I placed out the choice for her. She went into one of a thoughtful expression, her brows furrowed and her hand on her chin.

" Umm I really like princess! She's really beautiful and kind!" She spoke in admiration.

" So Emilia?"

" But Mister knight will feel really lonely then.. Argh I don't know what to do!"

Reinhard's eye dilated upon hearing that , Plum read his feelings like an open book made for children. He was feeling grateful for her to take him into consideration but a monster such as him doesn't deserve this happiness, not at all.
