<His sword boasts utmost power and capabilities, I'm sensing Kinetic energy from it as if It's own mind. But that doesn't make Reinhard any less strong

Reinhard is at low Demon lord level but could exceed it as we haven't seen his utmost capabilities. But He has an apologetic nature but He seems to possess several powers like Emotion and Mind reading as far as we've seen>

' I see , Having Reinhard and Emilia could help me find a Lead on back to my world'

"That being said , It's foolish to waste any more time while we could search for the thief" I said , Breaking out of my thoughts.

"Thief? I believe I could help with that"

"Really? That would be much appreciated , Reinhard!" Emilia exclaims , clasping her hand with a smile.

"Anyways , Back to the topic, Start from the beginning, Emilia" I looked towards Emilia with crossed hands.

" Well It happened really fast! All I saw was a yellow blur ,and my Insignia was gone be-"

" Don't tell me you lost the Royal insignia?!" Reinhard interrupted in a astound tone. The gears in my brain accelerated as if a missing puzzle was suddenly fixed. Of course! Emilia being a royal surely explains Reinhard's demeanour towards her.

" umm yes" Emilia shyly said , twiddling her fingers together. Her cheeks and tip of her ear red from embarrassment.

" Emilia-sama, with all due respect, That insignia is the proof of being a candidate. Stealing such an item is considering no less that treason and can also cost you your standing in the Royal" Reinhard scolded Emilia.

" What does you mean by candidate?"

I raised my eyebrows at that, If Emilia wasn't a royal and was a candidate for throne instead , does this indicate that this country practices Elections and is a democratic country? If so , then where are the original Royal family of this country? Every country in the Medieval era had at least one, various questions such us that were puzzling themselves with each other, One leading to two more questions.

" This is supposed to be secret, but.. since you are helping me to find it in the first place, I guess you deserves to know the truth"

" It happened a few years ago.. when the Royal family suddenly were struck by a mysterious disease" Emilia 's voice took a narrative tone.

" Despite by the countless tries of Mages , healers and knights, They weren't able to find a cure nor make one. And the time didn't came any late when the entire Royal family had fallen to the disease"

" And after being silent for the entire time , The Great Dragon finally displayed something on the Dragon tablet.. It quoth that ' Five maiden shalt be chosen to be the ruler , and one shalt succeed'"

" And you are one of the candidates, right?"

" Yes , as Reinhard has already said it , the Insignia glowed on contact with any candidate, and remains dull if not in contact"

" I see , So basically your insignia is something that even the richest nobles can't afford?"

" Precisely" Emilia finished. We were silent for a few second before I broke it.

'Looks like both the thief and Emilia messed up , it's like a cat and mouse cat, One suffers while other succeeds '.

" I have a thought I want to share about the thief" Reinhard and Emilia turned to look at me.
