There was really only one thing that was constant in Jeongin's life, and that was the vexing presence of Kim Seungmin. Stability was a rare thing for him, but he never expected that befriending Seungmin would lead to two full years of continuous annoyance.

Today was no different. Jeongin woke up at a reasonable time to find Seungmin already prepared for the day sitting at the breakfast table. He was wearing black pants with that god forsaken Mahagrid shirt that he wore almost everyday.

Jeongin rolled his eyes. They had become friends when they both were freshman in college, and decided that it would be more cost-effective to share a dorm. In the time that Jeongin has known Seungmin, there wasn't a single time he wasn't irritated.

"What?" Seungmin asked, noticing Jeongin's typical displeasure.

"That shirt? Again?" Jeongin responded, making his way over to the fridge to search for breakfast.

"Yeah, I like it," Seungmin said. "What's your problem?"

"You wear it everyday," Jeongin pointed out, starting to eat grapes. "Change it up a little, be daring"

"Daring?" Seungmin quirked an eyebrow. "What do you have in mind?"

Jeongin glared at Seungmin, not appreciating his tone. He sighed dramatically, putting his food back in the fridge and welcoming himself into Seungmin's room. Seungmin followed right behind him.

Jeongin threw open his closet and riffled through the options. "Basic, basic, ugly, who let you buy this?"

Seungmin stood behind him with his arms crossed. "You don't have to be such a bitch about this"

"Yes, I do," Jeongin informed him. "Who else will be so brutally honest with you?"

Seungmin laughed despite himself. "I guess"

"Ah!" Jeongin exclaimed, pulling out a jean jacket. "Why don't you ever wear this?"

Seungmin shrugged. "I usually wear my windbreaker"

"Well, stop, this will look better" He tossed the jean jacket at Seungmin then went back to his search. He discovered a sweater that he had never seen Seungmin wear before. "All of your best clothes are hidden at the bottom of your closet"

Seungmin didn't bother arguing back with Jeongin anymore. He loved bickering with him, but it was much more entertaining to see him rant about things he was passionate about. Apparently, today he was passionate about Seungmin's fashion sense. It was adorable, in a very annoying way.

"What's this?" Jeongin said, clearly interested in whatever he found. Seungmin looked over his shoulder and his eyes shot open. His diary.

"Give that back!" Seungmin tried to reach for it, but Jeongin was already escaping to the other side of the room.

"Why?" Jeongin smiled as he pretended to start to open the notebook. "Is there something you don't want me seeing, Minnie?"

Seungmin's face flushed at the nickname as he snatched the book back with little protest as Jeongin laughed hysterically at his embarrassment.

"I hate you more than anyone," Seungmin said, his tone laced with venom.

Jeongin's smile didn't falter. "Mhm, whatever you say, now change into the outfit I chose for you"

Seungmin started to take his shirt off instantly, making Jeongin stop in his tracks. He fully expected Seungmin to wait until he left the room, but there was no hesitation. Jeongin pulled his eyes away and stood there with his arms crossed.

He sighed. "Where would you be without me?"

"Mentally?" Seungmin asked, pulling the white sweater over his head. "In a much happier place"

Jeongin stuck his tongue out. "You love me"

Seungmin didn't argue with that.
