"Get used to company." He leaves angrily. I sigh sadly. No more moon baths for me. Unless he doesn't know of me gone. I smirk at that. Chief or not, I need my moon. He sure as Hell is not going to take that away from me.

I am marching with the night's watch beside Strider (his insistence) and I am jumping at the sounds the others are making. I am very quiet whenever I move but the others are not. At least not in my ears.

"Are you scared?" Strider asks smirking. I roll my eyes. He has been acting like this for the past 5 days and it's getting annoying. I stopped talking to him. If he has a problem, we can talk it out or fight it out once he dropped the attitude.

"Answer, that's an order."

"No, I am not scared." I mutter and analyse the ground. My ears pick something. Orcs.

"Orcs." I whisper and climb in a tree. I grab the bow and arrows and position myself correctly. I wait upon the signal and when the Orcs come running I shoot them down. I keep shooting until my quiver is empty. I look down and see 3 Orcs trying to come up behind Strider. I wait until I am above them and jump down on the first one's shoulders. I slice his throat and jump on the other one. I do the same thing but the third one sees me coming and tries to slice me in 2. I stab his arm and cut his throat with my dagger. I take my sword and kill 2 that were sneaking up on me and run to the boys. I grab an intact arrow and shoot at one Orc, then slide between another one's legs and slice them open, roll out of the way and jump on another shoulders and behead it. It falls down and I roll down as well.

"Any one hurt?" I ask the other Rangers. They shake their heads. I nod and look for anything useful when the moon shines upon us. I look up and smile at it.

"Narwyn!" I turn at Strider who is pointing behind me. I roll out of the way as a Warg tries to bite my head off. I use my sword and cut off the reins. The Orc falls and dies, while Strider takes down the Warg. He then grabs my arm harshly.

"Don't be distracted!" I pull away. I turn my back to him and walk away.

"Where are you going?"

"To look for arrows. I'll catch up." I lie. He nods and leaves with the boys. I climb on a tree, the highest one around me and climb to it's top. I find a strong branch and sit down. I enjoy the moonlight on my skin, shining all my worries away. No Strider being moody, no Orcs trying to kill me, no one asking me for any sort of thing. Just me, myself and I. And the owl that is staring at me on my right.

I feel so playful. I miss being able to transform in a wolf and playing with my brothers in the woods. I miss running around and falling asleep anywhere I want. I miss my family.

I sigh and climb down quietly. Better to get back. I am feeling more sad each day because of how Strider is feeling and it's the worst feeling.

"Can we talk?" I turn around surprised to see Aragorn waiting for me at the tree.

"Uh yeah, sure. What do you want to talk about?" He looks at me and studies me.

"Why do you leave every night? To come in the woods?"

"I am used to being alone."

"Please stop lying." So he knows me better than I anticipated.

"My family and I were very close to nature and I have created a bond with the moon in particular. So every night I come to smile at it." I explain and lean against the tree.

"And why do you steal?"

"In order to bring out Nas' playful side and make Clirst chuckle or smile. I thought that maybe if I did it long enough with you, you would loosen up but...guess I only angered you more." I smile sadly. I close my eyes and decide to ask.
