TW: This chapter is kinda depressing.
Deja's POV:

It was a phrase I had heard way too many times. Every time I asked what was wrong, why they seemed upset, I always got the same vague answer. I didn't know why they always said this phrase. I knew they were lying. And they knew it too.

"I'm okay... Just tired," was the answer I got. Every time I asked Camden why she seemed so scared. Every time I asked Angie what was bugging her. Every time I asked Willow why she was crying. Every time I asked Bosco what was the matter. Every time I asked Daya why she wore a frown.

It scared me how many times I heard that phrase. I knew they were lying to me. I don't get why they never told me what was wrong. They trust me enough to stay with me, I don't get why they don't talk to me.

"Hey Deja..." I heard a sleepy British accent call. I turned, finding a pale looking Camden. Her nose had a red tint. She looked sick. She always looked sick now. I don't remember the last time she looked even the slightest bit healthy. It was scary, to be honest.

"Hi there, Cam Cam... You look pale. Are you okay? Are you feeling sick?" I questioned, tilting my head slightly. She sighed, shaking her head slightly. I frowned, knowing what I was about to hear. I knew it all too well. She was going to say those same four words.

"Actually... I'm feeling sick. I dunno why, but my whole body just feels sucky.." She murmured. I froze, not knowing what to say. She had just told me how she was feeling? She didn't try to hide it and lie? This hadn't happened in so long, I didn't know how to react.

"Okay.. Do you want some water? Where does it hurt?" I spoke, rushing to her side and helping her stand up straight. She sighed, pointing to her stomach and her head. Tears started to brim her eyes, which somehow looked way more grey than their usual blue color.

"My head is all achy... And my tummy hurts.. Deja, everything hurts and I don't know why! Deja, make it stop!" Camden wailed, clinging onto me. I frowned, leading her to the kitchen and setting her on the counter, giving her a bottle of water. She drank it really fast.

"Cam Cam, maybe you should rest today.. You look really sickly. Just take it easy today," I spoke as calm as I could. On the inside I was trembling, knowing Camden would say she was fine. But I knew she wasn't fine. It was pretty obvious that she really wasn't.

"I don't need to rest. I'll be fine," Camden asserted, her voice was shaky and nasally, I didn't like that. That made me worry. She must be sicker than I thought. I didn't know why she was always sick. She just never seemed to get over whatever sicknesses she had.

"Deja? You know I'll be fine, right? I know my limits, I'll be okay.." Camden spoke shakily. She sounded like she didn't believe herself. I didn't believe her either. She hopped off the counter, struggling to gain her balance as she wobbled over to the door, shakily grabbing her bag.

"Cam Cam, where are you going? There is no way you're going to work like this! You need to rest!" I spoke, grabbing her wrist, causing her to let go of her bag. She glared at me with teary, dreary looking eyes, looking like she was going to start bawling.

"Deja let me go! I have to go to work! Let go of me!" Camden shrieked, trying to pull away from me as her tears finally started to fall. She forcefully yanked herself away from me, collapsing on the ground as her body racked with her painful sobs. I panicked.

"Cam Cam... Cam Cam, please listen to me. You can't go into work today, not like this, please just rest today." I spoke calmly, taking her hand in mine, she shook her head as she continued to sob. I think she woke up Angie, as the southern girl came downstairs.

"Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP! Leave me alone! Go away, go away, GO AWAY!" Camden screeched, holding her head and shaking it violently. I looked to Angie in need of help. She went to Camden, taking her hand and brushing Camden's hair out of her face. Camden looked up.

"Sugar, please rest. You'll do better if you do. You look really tired. Please just get some rest," Angie spoke softly. Camden screamed with sobs as she yanked away from Angie, crumpling up even further as she slammed her fist into the floor. Every inch of her body shaking horribly.

"Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP! You don't understand ANYTHING, Angie! Leave me alone and GO AWAY! Both of you, JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" Camden shrieked, clawing at her head. I had a suspicion she wasn't telling me and Angie to leave her, as she suddenly hugged me.

"No, wait, I don't mean that... Deja, Angie, don't leave me! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! I just want these voices to go away..." Camden hiccuped, sobbing hysterically as she tightened her grip on my shirt. I hugged her, not knowing what else I could do. Angie hugged her too.

"I'm just.. I don't know! I don't know what's wrong with me! I don't know what to do! I just want these voices to go away! But they just won't leave me alone!" Camden shrieked as her body racked with sobs. Angie placed a hand on her back, moving it up and down.

I wasn't sure what to do, but seeing Camden like this was heartbreaking. I wanted to help and make all the pain go away, but I didn't know how to do it. She looked so scared, and so small. She looked up at me, before speaking shakily.
"Deja... I'm not okay... But I am tired.."
