Poems, cleaning and an emergency!

The two girls were as energetic as you'd expect, runnin to get first place.
Poems in hand, there was the finish line.
Unfortunately for Natsuki, this was one of the rare days that Sayori remembered to eat breakfast.
The latter girl made it first, winning the role of Vice President.
"Hah......I win...." Sayori smiled and the two catched their breath.
"Fine, I'll admit it, you can run!" Natsuki sat down against the wall before pulling out her phone.

Natsundere: Sayo won lul

Tellori is online.

Tellori: Ye!

Tellori: We r supposed to be in the office lol

Tellori: My eng teacher is a meanie >:(

Natsundere: The biggest meanie out there D:<

Natsundere: But it turns out we share a class lol

Yufi is online.

Yufi: That's nice.

Yufi: Anyway, I need help.

Yufi: A random boy is staring at me.

Natsundere: Nah bitch, ur mine

Natsundere: wot room r u in?

Yufi: 218

Yufi: He's coming over, got to go.

Natsundere: im getting my ass over there.

Tellori: wait for meee

"Alright." Natsuki looked angry. "It's time to save our girlfriend!"
"Yep!" Sayori nodded and the two were running again.

Yuri kept at her desk.
Maybe if she kept sitting, this guy wouldn't talk to her.
But she was wrong.
"Hey uhh..." He started. "I figured I'd just talk to you because you seem to be close to one of my friends...."
Now she was confused.
Was he referring to one of her soulmates?
She decided to speak up. "Which...one...?"
"Sayori." The mysterious guy clarified. "I'm assuming you know who that is?"
"Oh."

The two looked out the window and saw two shorter girls running to that very room, one of them looking like the mentioned girl.
The teacher wasn't present in the room at that moment so the two left to join them.
"Indeed I do know her..." Yuri stated as she opened the door.
"Speak of the devil." He giggled.

"Wait...MC?" Sayori looked at him puzzledly.
"So that's him?" Natsuki asked.
The boy looked at his feet for a moment then back up again. "Sorry if I gave off the wrong impression, I was just curious on how you knew each other."
Yuri finally spoke up. "Soulmates."
"Ah," MC realised. "Well, have fun and sorry again..."
He went back into the classroom, Yuri was about to follow until she felt a tug on her arm.

"Cmon, let's go back down!" Natsuki suggested, holding the taller girl's arm.
"But class-" Yuri defended.
Sayori put on a pleading face. "Pleeeeease..."
"For us?" Natsuki put on the same face.
Yuri was defenceless against these two cute girls.
"Alright."
The three went back down to the canteen door, walking this time.
Before they knew it, the three were sitting against the wall again.
The bell rang, which signalled Monika could be here at any moment.
"Aww man, I'm the last one here again..?!" The aforementioned woman yelled, running to the others.
The club was complete.

"So you're VP?" Monika asked Sayori.
"Yep!" The girl smiled.
"Sadly.." Natsuki giggled, obviously joking.
"Meanie!" Sayori yelled.
"Sorry..."
"You owe me another cupcake!" Sayori giggled deviously.
"Wait Monika, you never got a cupcake earlier!" Natsuki realised.
Monika smiled. "I'll be fine with having one when we get there!"
"Wait..." Yuri spoke up. "Where are we going?"
"Uhhh...." Monika didn't know.

"My house, my house!" Sayori persisted.
"Alright.."
"Alright!"
"Alright~"

The other three followed Sayori to her house.
Eventually into her bedroom.
The room was messy but not as bad as Sayori described it on the walk there.
Although Monika's brain had wired into a mode of needing it clean which made the air a little tense.
Before Sayori knew it, Monika was getting clothes off the floor, books back in their shelves and the rare cups and plates in the sink.
"Monika, are you okay?" Natsuki quiered.
"Yes....I think." Monika sat down on the bed before turning her head to Sayori, who was looking at her with confusion. "Sorry about that, it was just a compulsion.."
"It's alright, just as long as you are safe.." Sayori smiled.

"Okay, everyone!" Monika stood up again, looking like her confident self once more. "Let's go around and share our poems!"
"Alright, let's do this..." Yuri grabbed out a flat and pristine piece of paper from her bag.
Natsuki ripped out a page with clear writing on it from her small and very pink notebook.
Sayori also ripped out a notebook page but it was one of those classic cheap yellow ones with lines.
Monika already had her sheet, it was a plain white with green lines of a small opacity.

Monika walked up to Natsuki first, who seemed nervous but obliged.
"Okay, let's just do this..." Natsuki sighed.
"Yes, I can't wait to see what you wrote!" Monika smiled.
"Honestly, I'm so happy I found you.." Natsuki admitted. "Just don't tell the others I said that!"
"Your secret is safe with me."
The two handed each other their poems.
Both read through carefully.

On the other side of the small bedroom, Sayori beamed at Yuri, who seemed weary of this all.
"Don't worry Ri, it will be fine!"
"Wait, you already gave me a nickname?"
"Yep, now gimme the poem!"
"Alright, I'm still nervous about this though..."
The two swapped poems and read.
