It's been three days since Zayn went back to school. And everything was good. Everything felt....not normal but better than normal.

His mom was still at the house with his father, and Zayn knew none of this but now all the abuse was targeted at her. Trisha was already being physically abused by her husband. But there was never sexual abuse towards her cause well he always had Zayn, but now Zayn was dead. So for the past month, she's been through hell. So she stopped going home.

Now Yaser's son was dead and his wife had pretty much left him cause she was never home. So in turn he's just been staying at the bars. Literally, at closing time, they would have to throw his passed out body on the sidewalk just so they could lock up. So maybe Harry's plan was kind of working. The man didn't have much, but now he was literally nothing and literally has nothing.

Yaser did have plan for Zayn's inheritance though. But without Zayn he knew he'll never get his grubby hands on it.

That day when Walter and Jean came to visit. They wanted to talk to Zayn about it being that he was turning eighteen soon. But their grandson never showed up.

In turn they were told he's been acting out lately and that, that was his current behavior. Or in Yaser's words "he's fallen in with the wrong crowd, I just don't know what I'm going to do with him."

And Yaser didn't know Jean had called Zayn recently. And Zayn cleared everything up. He was staying with a friend's because he didn't want to be around his dad. Zayn might have mentioned a few incidents but nothing too incriminating.

In that same conversation Zayn found out, he will be receiving and outstanding inheritance when he turns eighteen, a long with a percentage of Walter's company after college for the time he's alive and after passing he will inherit the whole thing. Walter told him that this was a conversation he was looking forward to having face to face but unfortunately he was already back in the U.S

Zayn was shocked to say the least, so he didn't even dare tell his grandfather of his very slim chances of getting into university after all the antics he's been through.

He was barely getting by in his classes as is, Zayn never really thought of Uni cause his parents would never be able to afford it and he doubt his father would send him anyway. But now that he knew he could afford it he regrets not studying harder.

This was all too much for him to take in.

What am I gonna do?

At school Zayn was absolutely living his best life, other than scrambling around all his teachers begging for extra credit for this and the upcoming term. Any life without his dad is the best life. But it would all come crashing down when he saw him.

Zayn was standing at his locker with Louis who trying to convince him to come over to his house so they can hang out.

But Zayn kept refusing because Louis literally lived directly in front of him and he just didn't want to risk it. Louis knew Zayn was no longer staying at his house but he didn't know where or with who or why. But he never stressed it cause his friend was happy and all in all just glowing.

"Louis, I just can't okay?"

Louis huffs folding his arms.

This causes Zayn to start cackling but he suddenly stopped when he saw him.

Walking down the hall head high, a permanent smirk sprawled on his lips as if he ran the school.

His eyes caught Zayn's and his smirk widened. A sinister sickening smirk that made Zayn's body itch on the inside.
