I've never felt home somehow
No one apparently knew
One day I saw your big, charming smile
and that feeling was long gone.
Wind in my hair, my patience was zero
You twisted it in your hands, you become my hero
You ordered my hair like some crazy thread of thought
And suddenly it all worked out, will you give me a shot?
Should it be fun to feel chills
and blame the cold, shouldn't it?
Shouldn't it?
Shaking, are my beliefs trembling?
You dropped all the pieces of my mosaic.
I couldn't look you in the eyes
I was afraid to fall like in my dreams
I couldn't touch your cheeks
I was scared to say goodbye.
Just standing by, getting drunk on my tears
Watching the sky, observing the stars
you and I have been talking about all the time
Fate wasn't giving me any sign.
Summers are supposed to be kind of fun
Is there still time before the sun comes up?
Can we play treasure hunt, see, I got the map
It leads to the hidden depths of my being,
isn't it fun being a teen?
Out of focus, throbbing headache
How much time do we have before I break?
Bring me out of town, where nobody knows our names
I thought memories were sort of images,
but they are painful pins instead.
