Why can't they see?
Why cant they see,
how hard I try?
They tell me
"You need to be stronger"
Why cant they see
That their words hurt me?
I laugh and pretend I don't care
But words hurt me,
so there.
They call me the devil's spawn.
I know I'll never belong.
But I'm not just a pawn.
I have feelings too,
deep inside
they hide.
You know why they're blue?
Because of people like you.
I used to rely on you too.
But you pushed that bond through.
So I now stand on the side.
Taking in more than most eyes.
How did I never see the world correctly before?
