2: Forgetting Things?

"So... you mind... coming with me?" he asked nervously as he stared at my lips.

"Ha-ha! You're coming in too fast, buddy." I laughed and he smiled back.

I placed my hand on his chest as I looked at his deep blue eyes.

"You can't handle me..." I whispered as I slowly drained away his energy, his eyes turning lifeless and pale.

"Tsk, can't walk the talk huh? Now beat it." I uttered as I let go of him, pushing him away from me.

I don't mind humans flirting with me but it irks me when they act reckless, thinking they can handle me.

"Hey handsome..." I heard myself say as I felt a tight grip on my waist.

"Nu-Kuea... you're being naughty..." A voice whispered to my ear.

*RIIING*

I flinched as I heard my alarm ring, opening my eyes and seeing the dim-lit ceiling.

"Ugh..." I moaned as I felt nauseous.

I got up and felt a light sting on my hand before seeing a handkerchief tied on it. Confused, I removed it and saw a small cut on my palm.

What the hell happened last night? I asked myself as I felt slightly dizzy.

I grabbed my phone and saw three missed calls from Diao, two from Syn, and one from mother. I was about to call Diao when my phone rang, showing his name on it.

"Yeah..." I greeted with a hoarse voice.

"Nu-Kuea! Where have you been!" he asked as I pulled the phone away because of his loud voice.

"Keep it down, my head hurts. I'm home." I whined as I laid back to bed.

"I know you're at home because I called your mom last night. I want to know where you've been! Do you have any idea how worried I was?" He said non-stop.

"Uhh... I was at Gemini..." I tried to recall.

"I KNOW you were at Gemini because we went there together. But when I got home, I called you but you weren't answering your phone. I called Jay and he said that you left with a stranger!"

"Ha-ha... You know I never leave with strangers." I laughed hoarsely.

"I KNOW! That's what made me concerned!" He exclaimed.

"Ugghh... I can't remember anything from last night. All I know is I danced with someone then pushed him away. Then... I can't remember." I said before hearing a deep sigh from the other line.

"Are you gonna make it to class today?" He asked with a worried tone.

"I... Don't think I can make it. I feel nauseous and my head feels like breaking." I complained.

"Okay then. Hey Syn, Kuea can't make it today." I heard him say.

"Oy, Kuea! Just rest up, we'll talk to the professors for you." I heard Syn say which made me smile.

"Thanks guys." I said before hanging up.

I let out a deep sigh upon seeing my wrecked self on the mirror. 

"I need a shower." I told myself as I got out of bed and walked slowly to the bathroom.

I wore my brown bathrobe as I dried my hair with a towel after a long shower. I was about to open the door to my room when I felt a strange but familiar presence. I took a deep breath before slowly opening the door.
