2: Forgetting Things?

"Oy oy! Kuea! Are you okay!?" Diao asked as he caught me by the waist before nearly falling to the floor and helped me sit back on the bed.

"Kuea! Are you really okay?" Diao asked again, with an extremely worried expression on his face.

"My legs are shaking..." I whispered, still confused of what's happening to my body.

"What do you mean your legs are shaking? Are you hungry?" he asked.

"No. Actually, I feel quite full. But my legs feel weak." I answered.

"No, you're not going to Gemini like this. You're going home. I'll call Jay to re-schedule your performance." He said seriously as he got his phone to call Jay.

Diao is a great friend, no doubt about that. The only problem is he worries too much about me.

"Diao." I said in a stern voice as he turned to me, looking at me straight in the eyes.

I held his hand and pulled him towards me, making him bend down to my level. I held his soft cheek and made him lock his eyes to mine.

"I'm fine. I didn't stumble. I will go to Gemini tonight." I ordered as Diao's eyes slowly turned sleepy.

"You're fine... you'll go to Gemini... tonight..." he repeated.

"That's a good boy." I praised him as a smiled formed on his cute lips.

I smiled and caressed his cheek with my thumb as I planted a kiss on his forehead before letting go of his hand, also freeing him from the trance. He closed his eyes and stood straight before looking at me with a smile.

"Kuea, let's go. You have to choose what to wear tonight." He said eagerly.

"Okay, okay. Let's go." I said, pulling myself together before getting up.

Hypnotism is a basic ability of every demon. The only downside is that I can only use it to the ones who has close feelings for me, like Diao. Though it's an amazing and handy ability, it consumes a decent amount of energy. If used to much, it could cause me my life. Mother said it's fine using it to humans but I shouldn't use it on other demons because it might cause trouble. I'm really not sure what she meant by that but I have a feeling it's not something to be taken lightly. The only human I used hypnosis on is Diao and I don't plan on carelessly using it on other people.

I still couldn't make up what happened and I need to clear my mind. I still need to find out if it was a dream, a mirage, my imagination, or a side-effect of me being in heat. But right now, I need to relax.

The loud sound from the speakers made my heart race as I danced with strangers on the dancefloor.

"Woooh!!!" I exclaimed as I raised my glass of Manhattan.

I lost count of how many shots I drank but I'm sure of one thing, I am really enjoying this. Being surrounded by humans in a place where lust overflows in every corner, this is heaven for me.

"Kuea! Kuea! I need to go!" I could hear Diao from somewhere but I can't seem to find him.

"Where are you!?" I called out but he didn't answer back so I just shrugged it off and continued dancing.

"Hey there." A voice from behind whispered as I felt someone's hand on my waist and I turned around to see an unfamiliar guy.

"You're Kirin, right? I loved your performance." He whispered to my ear, his hands still on my waist.

A smirk formed on my lips as I felt his energy, he obviously likes me.

"Hi..." I whispered back to his ear and I could feel how his lust increased with just a word from me.
