I answered him while eating desserts, nagutom kasi ako.

"Love?" pangunang saad niya.

His voice is so damn calming! like i felt i didn't exhaust myself this day!

"Yes po?" arte ko naman sa po, kala mo talaga mabait eh.

"I have something to say love, this is a bad news. please i want you to enjoy your day." he said in a low voice.

Agad dinaga ang dibdib ko, i was so confused. To the point i make my own scenarios just to feed my curiosity, what is he going to tell?

"Something bad happened, love. And i want you to understand me for being late getting there. Please?"

I could hear his breathing on the next line, as if he was really nervous about this. I will understand him, i'll wait naman if he'll be late.

"Love, i can wait for you. Okay? no need to be nervous, asikasuhin mo muna yan, i understand." I said with assurance.

"Thankyou love. Iloveyou."

Binaba ko kaagad ang tawag, i know he's reluctant this time. Something had happened and i should not interlude, maybe i could ruin his day instead.

The event started smoothly. Dumating yung mga ninang ko from other provinces.

"Oh my god, belle. Happy birthday! you grew up stunning!" Tita Geraldine, greeted me.

I laughed a bit. "Wag mo'ko i bola dito tita, ayan ka nanaman eh."

We laughed. "Okay btw. What course are you gonna taking?"

We walk towards the venue, nasa labas pa kasi sila, kakarating lang.

"I was thinking of Medtech tita, but also i wannabe psychologist? para pasyente ko lang din yung mga angkan ko" I jokingly said.

"That would be me, iha." she laughed.

As we entered the venue, the music starts to play, and all of the people stared at me. U walk slowly, because the event is now gonna start. Me and tita parted ways.

"Clap your hands, for our elegant debutant!" emcee shouted.

The music fits how i walk, it was so slow yet calming. Like i walk without any insecurities bragging me to death.

As i sat down in the front, people clapped. I wonder if Akio is now here, I wander the venue pero wala akong makitang Akio, even his shadow. Lear is also not here, how? is there something happening? did i hurt them without me knowing anything? I started to point myself, this isn't happening. They're both special, and this is my special day!

"Let's start our event, by giving gifts to our debutant! Music maestro!" the emcee announced.

Napukaw ang atensyon ko sa event, i neglect all my worries for now, i just have to enjoy this. I saw Shane and Lelsie eating on the table, with Mama and Papa.

They began to give me some gifts, may natanggap akong cash and things. Sa dami nang natanggap ko i think di na sya kasya sa room ko, it was hella much.

I saw a last guy walking, dinaga ang dibdib ko thinkinh it was him. I was hoping that Akio would be the last guy to give me some gifts, but he wasn't. It was griffin, holding a bouquet of daisies. I was shocked for a while that he knows my fav flower, maybe dad told him.

"Happy birthday, belle." saad ni griffin.

"Thankyou, griff." i smiled a bit.

I'm too casual to him because i don't like him, i don't feel anything the way i feel something about Akio. I can't blame my self for choosing what's the best for me tho.
