A NetJames Story (Reincarnation)

Chapter 14

James started off his day making himself a cup of coffee when Samantha, his roommate, had en entered the kitchen. Samantha has been James' best friend since he was a child.

Some would say they look like siblings as they claim that the two look crazy alike, and after comparing in the mirror a few too many times, he's beginning to see it.

Others would say that they're dating, however both Samantha and James have agreed that they have more of a platonic (or even sibling-like *wink wink* ) relationship.

"Hey! What's for breakfast?" Samantha asked, quite tired-looking, as expected. "Coffee and toast?" James answered, holding up the two food items. "Ok sure." Samantha said, helping herself to some. "Hey, my boyfriend is taking me to work today. Would you like a lift?".

Normally when James is asked this he would politely decline. However on days that has his terrible dream; he wouldn't have much strength to commute to work on his own. So he took up Samantha's offer. Speaking of said dream, James has been it since he was in his early teens.

Sometimes he would have fragments of it (or at least from what he could remember), and others he would have the whole dream; which he hated the most because he'd practically fall in love for some mystery guy only for him to die by the time his dream is over.

Speaking of this mystery guy, he just calls him that because he's never met this dude before and at this point probably never will.

The strange thing about this is that that James feels like he's met this guy before, and his dreams kept recurring to the point where James began to consider that it had happened before, possibly in another life.

What a terrible way for one's life to end. James thought. For the most part he just left these feelings to himself and left them as a mystery. Until today.

James was sitting in the back seat of Samantha's boyfriend's car, with none other than Samantha and her boyfriend, named Levi. Both James and Samantha work at the same hospital as surgeons.

James is a Pediatric surgeon while Samantha is a Cardiothoracic surgeon. While Samantha and Levi shared a kiss goodbye, James had already rushed inside to start work.

While going about his day, he sees the chief of surgery walking around with some younger looking guy dressed in all black from his top, to his pants, and even his shoes.

As they were approaching him, James realized that he looked awfully familiar but just couldn't put his finger it. So he just put it at the back of his mind.

"Ah! James." The chief began. "This is Net Siraphop Manithikhun". "You could just call me Net." The younger guy said, shaking James' hand. "This man here is going to fund our hospital with many advanced technology, mainly in the pediatric sector. So I need you(James) to show him around." The chief said, and then left James and Net on their own. "I guess that means I'm giving you a tour." James says, proceeding to give Net a tour of the hospital.

After giving the tour, Net returned to his company shortly after. A little while later, James hung up his coat and returned home with Samantha as his work was done for the day.

After a day's hard work, often, James just wants to crash into his bed and go to sleep.

However, sleep was last thing on his mind because later that night James had a flashback-like dream in which he could see, as clear as day, his mystery man before he woke up, shocked at his revelation.

So that's why Net looks so familiar. James thought. Holy shit. Net's my mystery guy.

Author's Note: As you guys can see from the story so far, it'll sort of surround the medical field henceforth. I'm so wrapped up in Grey's Anatomy lately that my brain could only produce a drive in this story if it follows the same setting as Grey's Anatomy (so if you find any similarities, that's why). Also the whole specifying what field Samantha and James are in will make a bit more sense as the chapters go on, so bare with me here.
