Start of a Mysterious Journey

The First Page.. "The Gate of Beginnings"

We are introduced to our adventurer, Leonidas, arriving at a giant gate that takes you to where the Land of Mysteries is, Leonidas stepped infront of the gate with his bag and a katana around his waist, he takes a deep breathe as he thinks to himself "Let's hope I'm ready for this.." after hesitating for a little, he takes small steps into the gate, and suddenly, a white flash appears.. After a few seconds, the flash dissipates and Leonidas is taken to a beautiful field of flowers, the book he had read said that once you saw a field of flowers, it is a sign that you've successfully reached "Regurifer" Leonidas took a relieved sigh as he looked at the horizon, knowing that the journey will be tough, he gathered his courage and start to walk towards the west where the first village could be seen. Leonidas enters the village where he saw adventurers and humans cooperating, children playing, and stands selling all kinds of stuff, he had arrived at a village called "Santo Domingo." After taking a look for awhile, he finds an Inn where he intends to stay for awhile, but first he had to do something, he goes to an elder in the village and asked "I believe this is Santo Domingo yes?-" the elder replied with "Yes, indeed it is, are you perhaps a new adventurer? If so, I know you are quite hungry for adventures.." The elder laughed softly as Leonidas laughed with him, the elder said "There is a forest on the east side of the village where tons of creatures lives, becareful though young one, it is said there are predators in that forest, some adventurers who came there never returned.." The elder said in a serious tone, Leonidas replied with: "Yes, thank you for the advice, I greatly appreciate it." The elder nodded as Leonidas waved goodbye, heading to the forest, as he arrived there, an eerie aura surrounds it, making him nervous and afraid, he said: "So this must be the forest I had read in the book.. the Inter Forest.." He gulped and gathered his courage, putting his hand on his weapon's handle, he entered the forest, without knowing what awaits him..
