Hearing that Bruce Banner, Hulk, mad scientist (pretty much) liked his sibling? Tony was confused. How anyone could like you was baffling to him, but moreover, the fact that Bruce wanted to try his luck knowing that Tony Stark was your brother. He and Jarvis could kill and bury the man without a trace at any point. Tony knew that you liked Banner as well. He was your brother, he just knew things like that, plus, you were very obvious about your attraction. So, like any brother would, Tony had to make sure that Bruce's intentions were good, and they were. He gave the scientist permission to ask you on a date, which you accepted of course. After all that, Tony left the scene feeling accomplished.
