NUCLEAR WEAPON

"We've got company" Robin said as she had a head against the wall listening to clanking of metals and the sound of tires screeching

They all hid behind multiple boxes as they saw two soldiers come into the room.

Leaving once again with two boxes

As soon as they were out of distance Steve slid the cylinder under the door to keep it open

"Go go go go!" He told them

Erica slid through first, then Dustin, Robin and Alex

"Steve hurry up!" They whisper shouted

He quickly made his way through as he saw the bottle was about to break. Just a few seconds later it shattered the liquid splashing onto the floor

Sizzling was heard and they all scrambled up off the floor

"Holy crap" Robin said

"You still wanna drink that?" Alex said the Erica smirking in her direction.

"Holy shit" Dustin said looking at the long distance of what looked like an everlasting hallway

"Well, I hope you guys are in good shape. Looking at you roast beef" Steve said eyeing Dustin

"Why me, why not Alex?" He asked but Steve

"You know damn well he ain't talking to me" Alex told Dustin and also began to follow steve

"Come on." Robin said to Erica and Dustin

"Why me?" He asked again to Robin but she didn't respond

They had been walking for what seemed like hours however they didn't know how long as there was no sunlight anywhere

"You think they built this whole mall so they could transport green poison?" Steve asked them all

"I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as poison it's gotta be much more valuable like promethium or something" Dustin told him

"What the heck is Promethium?" Steve asked him.

"It's what victor stones dad used to make cyborg bionic and cybernetic components" Alex  said turnining his face to Steve

"You're all so nerdy, it makes me physically ill."  Erica said

"Oh it takes one to know one young padawan" Alex told her a playful smile on his lips but she sent him a sarcastic one back

"No no no. Don't lump me in with them. I'm not a nerd all right? Steve argued

"Why so sensitive Harrington?" Robin asked him

"Afraid of loosing cool points with a ten year old child?" Alex asked adding on to Robins teasing

"No! I'm just saying I don't know jack shit about Prometheus" Steve responded

"Promethium. Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure, but whatever. All I'm saying is, it's probably being used to make something." Dustin stated correcting him

"Or power something, like a nuclear weapon" Robin stated

"Walking towards a nuclear weapon, great.That'd be great." Alex said sarcastically

"Yeah but why Hawkins of all places there is literally nothing about this place.." Robin continued on explaining her theory before Alex Dustin and Steve all tuned out and glanced at one another.

All three of them stopped "You think the Russians know about the-?" Steve asked them

"They could" Alex responded

"So it's connected?" Steve asked

"Maybe." Dustin replied

"It's possible" Alex said

Robin and Erica turned around to see the three boys in a deep conversation

"Im sorry is there something you'd like to share  with the class or is that just your mothers meeting?" She asked

No one answered her question as the walkie was going off and a man in Russian began to speak

"A trip to China, if you tread lightly" Alex said listening to the man

They all stared at him in shock

"What? Papa taught me a few languages when I wasn't being experimented- I mean I was uh my dad is my tutor and uh he taught me in my spare time." he said with a light chuckle trying to cover up with a lie

"Look wherever that broadcast is coming from, it's close" Alex said successfully changing the subject

"And if there's one thing we know about that signal, it could reach the surface" Robin said

"Let's go"
