“You have committed Sacrilege” said the main angel. He was sitting in the middle seat behind a large black marble podium at the back of the room. The pale lights that adorned the room in patterns of lines that snaked around objects, casting a sinister white light. On both sides of the room were rows of black marble seats that extended halfway up the walls. fLoating on the steps were the ophanim, horrid creations of the angels. They were a large organic eye that had red wires connecting to the rings that orbited around it, 4 large wings with white metallic feathers folded behind the main body. The floors were metallic plates about 5 by 5 ft. the podium in the back of the room was about 10 ft tall, two smaller desks of the same marble were at the base of the larger one but spaced apart. Sitting at these desks were cloaked figures. Lines of light adorned their clothes in spaced patterns. On their backs were things that looked like the insides of USB ports but without the casing. They were about a foot tall and half a foot long, 2 were on each his back connecting where the shoulderblades would be. At the ends of these devices were lines of lights that extended and took the form of long ribbon wings, they drifted with grace and fluidity like wings of a bird.l metal pieces adorned their cloaks that flowed with the cloth. The color of their robes varied from black to white and shades of grey. Their faces could not be seen as they were hidden in shadow.
“This cannot be forgiven” said the main angel. His robe was white with many metal pieces on his hood, a halo of light floated above his head, his wings were the largest by far and glowed the brightest. He stood up and pulled a sleek greatsword from his side and pointed it at the 200 figures kneeling on the floor, his hands had countless wires that snaked into the sleeves of his robe. At the head of the crowd, 13 lifted their heads up at the angel. They looked different then the 187 others behind them. They were taller and had more elaborate markings, their wings were not like that of the angels but were metallic and crowlike in shape. They were chained up with bands of light, the main figure of them spoke. He was the largest of them all.
“We-”
“SILENCE!” said the main angel. He gestured to the angel to his left, this one was more slender.
“Samyaza, leader of the watchers, you have been charged with committing sacrilege and revealing our most guarded secret. For this you will be forced to watch your children and spouse executed and then sent to suffer for eternity.” They had a female voice then picked up another file.
“You have taught sacred things that weren't meant to be spoken of, you have defiled yourselves with mankind, and you have revealed our secrets.”
An armored figure came over from the side and yanked the hood back revealing Samyazas head. It was robotic but extremely advanced looking. His golden eyes glared at the head angel whose sword had lowered to his side.
“We did what we had to, we couldn't continue this lie!” Samyaza strained against his bonds.
The 5 angels sitting in the podium conversed with each other, then the main one spoke again.
“You took a vow to never reveal your secrets and to serve under us, you have broken that vow. Now you must SUFFER.”
An angel got up and walked over to Samyaza. They were tall and thin, their robes were tattered at the edges and old stains of dried blood stained it. The lights on their robes were thin and purple; the metal pieces were jagged. They raised a hand and a scythe materialized out of shards. It was long with a razor sharp edge that emitted a dark purplish smoke that made a sizzling sound. They swung the scythe back with their right hand and their left leg forward and jumped. The scythe extended forward and slashed through the crowd behind the 13 watcher chiefs. It split into many pieces and impaled each watcher in the chest, they wailed as their armor collapsed inward into them and fell to the ground. Glowing white blood poured from the corpses
“NO!” yelled a watcher to the left of Samyaza. The black angel turned to look at the female watcher. Red eyes could be seen through the dark veil on her hood, large and wide, looking at him. The black angels' lights flickered and they halted slightly.
“Don't do this Azrael!” she called out to him.
“Execute them” said the head angel on his podium. The bllack angel hesitated and continued to stare at the watchers.
“NOW!” said the head angel. And for the first time, the black angel spoke.
“No”
“Excuse me?” said the head angel. The female watcher looked between the two. Azrael turned to look at the head angel who seemed stunned at this turn of events.
“I said NO!” the ground beneath Azrael shook and warped as it deformed into spikes that shot out in all directions except towards the watchers. The ophanim started to glow and emit a humming noise as they loaded up and unfolded their wings. The black angel quickly and violently disposed of them as they attempted to converge upon him by swinging 4 spears that materialized suddenly. As each spear flew and hit an ophanim, it blew up and shards shot out. A flash and an angel that looked similar to the black angel appeared behind the watchers and after another flash, their heads rolled onto the ground, glowing blood spurting from the bodies. Their blood splashed on the black angels robes as he stood shocked at the sight of his dead lover. Rage built up inside of the black angel and he turned to the head angel who was standing up along with the other 4 to his sides. The black angel unoldes his wings and flew at the head angel. The black angel summoned dual spears, They crossed swords and spears, pushing back against each other with extreme effort.
“You've betrayed us Azrael, and you to have sinned”
“I did nothing you BITCH!” the black angel pushed away and summoned more spears, materializing and angling at the head angel while floating. He shot them at the head angel who raised a hand and blocked all but one spear which went straight through the center of his hand. It immediately started to sprout long sharp black crystals and a crystalline texture spread from the spear which had gone right through the hand and the shaft halfway through. He recoiled and pulled the spear out roughly, moaning in extreme pain, The crystal growth continued up his arm.
The black angel was spun around by a strong hand and stabbed through the chest, he looked up to see the angel that killed the watcher chiefs. The angel made a clicking growl and thrust the sword deeper into the black angel's chest, his wings faltered and shut down, disappearing. A portal opened onto the left wall and the black angel was thrown through it.
