Are you okay?

The last few classes went by agonizingly slow. I kept fidgeting with the silver ring on my finger just waiting for that final bell to ring. I had finished my work early and sat staring at the clock. There are only five minutes left in class. To pass the time I grabbed my notebook out of my bag and flip to the page I was doodling on at lunch. I grab my pen and the second my eye landed on the page I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. The sticky notebook I had been doodling on had two things on it. A drawing of the hellfire club logo and next to it had a drawing of Eddie himself. It didn't have a face the bell must have rung before I could finish it. I took the sticky note off the page and folded it in half while trying to get my blush to die down. I jumped hearing the final bell ring signaling the end of class. I heard a few of my classmates snicker around me. I rolled my eyes and shove the sticky note into my pocket before packing up all my stuff and throwing my backpack over my shoulder.

Walking out of the school building I made a beeline to the parking lot imminently spotting Eddie's van. knowing it would take a minute for Eddie to come out I hop on the hood and pull out a cigarette. Lighting it quickly I take a long drag into my lungs letting the warm feeling spared threw out my body. A cigarette was better than nothing although I would much prefer something much stronger right now. Unfortunately, all of that was currently locked inside Eddies van.

I look up hearing the sound of a door being pushed open and Eddie walking out and talking to Henderson. I watch him glance up at me on the hood of his van before turning back to Dustin. He pats Dustin on the back sending him stumbling a bit before turning to me. He yells something over his shoulder before jogging over with a grin. I smile back at him and take another drag on my cigarette turning my head to the side to avoid blowing smoke in Eddie's face.

Eddie stops in front of me with his arms crossed with that same playful smirk I know so well "Hello sweetheart" I look at him and hold out the cigarette in my hand silently offering it to him "Hello Eds" I hum softly to myself. He takes it from between my fingers and places it between his lips while digging in his pocket. He takes a long drag and tosses me his keys taking a step back from the hood letting me slide down. I grin catching the keys and immediately run to the passenger side unlocking the door.

I see Eddie drops and steps on the cigarette from my peripherals as I climb into the van. Such a waste. He walked around the other side as I reach across the front seat to unlock his door. I toss him his keys as he gets situated in the driver's seat. He turns on his radio and grins at me "pick a tape sweetheart" he tells me starting his van as he starts backing out. I rummage threw the tapes he had stored in his van until I found one of the mixtapes Eddie and I had made together. It had a bunch of random songs that both I and Eddie enjoy on it. I immediately grabbed it and popped it in. He glanced over at me as he drove "what did you pick?" He questioned as the tape processed. I grin as it finally starts up and the first song "Rock and Roll all night" By Kiss starts playing.

I could see the grin beginning to spread across his face. He reached for the center counsel and immediately turned up the volume. The music blasted from the radio speakers and I couldn't help but laugh at the action. We both sang along to the music that played stoping to headbanging occasionally the rest of the way to my house.

We eventually pull into my driveway and Eddie has to reluctantly turn down the music. I grab my backpack from the back of his van and hop out. Dashing up to my door Eddie trailing not too far behind. My mom wasn't home yet so I just let myself in. "Make yourself at home," I tell Eddie turning to enter my room. "I always do sweetheart" I hear him reply as he helps himself to a water bottle from the fridge.

I roll my eyes and put my backpack down quickly finding something comfortable to change into before sighing and taking a brush to my frizzy hair. It had been a long day and I desperately craved a nap. I touched up what little makeup I had on as I heard a gentle rapping on my bedroom door "You decent?" I laugh to myself hearing Eddie on the other side of my bedroom door as I clean up my desk "no I'm completely in the nude" I reply sarcastically. His feet shuffle outside the door and I can't help but roll my eyes about how adorable he is "Yes Eddie I'm decent come in" 

Flopping face first on my bad I listen as Eddie enters the room. I could hear him shuffling along my carpet I only lifted my head when I felt my bed dip slightly. Eddie sat on the end of my bed. he was staring at the water bottle in his hand like it was the most interesting thing on this planet. "Hey, eds are you alright?" I ask him softly as I shuffle to a sitting position. He glances up at me before his eyes fall to the floor again. "Earlier at lunch.." he started. I was hoping I could get away without the concerned Eddie speech.

I meet his eyes and they were filled with concern and something else I couldn't quite catch on too. "While we were talking about DnD plans you seemed really distracted. I didn't wanna bother you at first but.." he looks at me "I just wanna ask are you okay?"

AHHHHHHHH I'm so sorry for not uploading sooner! I know I suck remembering my nonexistent posting schedule. This is kinda a filler chapter just getting to know a little bit more if how Eddie and Y/N interact. I'll be working on more and I'm unsure when I'll be getting it out to you. But please enjoy while you can! Sorry if their is spelling and Grammer mistakes I'm writing at midnight a lot. If you have ideas feel free to write them in the comments <3 I'll write again soon
