Chapter 1

Blue piercing eyes look directly into my boring ass brown ones and I felt something when I looked at him that I only felt with him, it was probably hate with a dash of love, and I've been 2 years without this feeling that only he could cause me, the feeling I got for 8 years every time I looked into his eyes

The devil himself was seated in the pure center and he had all of his friends pointing and eyeing me, They were like what? 9 boys talking about me, well at least one looks decent

I turned away blushing because the cute guy from his friends made eye contact with me

We got to our seats and we all sat

down together, I could hear all my friends talking about the hot guys in front of us

All the boys were wearing their uniform which was the same as ours, only that they wore kakis and we had to wear skirts

"Good Afternoon everyone, I'm Dr Dale, director of the program as you all know" said the old man on the microphone, even though no one was paying any attention to him. We were all just looking at each other, boys and girls, I wanted to get lost and look at another boy, but I couldn't take my eyes off him

He was so much different from 2 years ago, his hair was still long, only longer, and his freckles started to fade a little, his lips also got fuller and pinker-ish and his shoulders were broader, he turned from his friend and made eye contact with me again, I turned away to the side probably blushing and hoped he didn't see my embarrassment, I looked at him again and he was looking down at his hands smirking

Damn, he got really attractive, it even made me forget my hatred for him for like 2 nanoseconds

I felt Olivia pocking my arm and I turned to look at her "Your best friend aged pretty well" she said

"Stop drooling Oli" I told her as a joke

"And as you all know, the ISTF is coming on January" said Dr Dale , and thats were I payed attention

"Unfortunately, we don't know who's going this year"

Panic rushed trough my body and I felt my every limbs getting as numb as ever

"There was a tie between a student from Buckner, and a student from Saints" you have to be shitting me

"Congratulations Chandler Riggs and Violet Lincoln, you'll both compete for the spot on December 18th,I'll explain it with more detail to the both of you, in 10 minutes, in my office, everyone else is dismissed" Said the old man and with that he left the room

I looked up at him and I saw all of his friends laughing, including him

I couldn't believe this, he did it again, I couldn't feel anything, I felt like my heart would fall out of my butt, I could hear my best friends faint voices trying to consulate me, when I looked up again , I saw him, celebrating, he knew damn well what he was doing, he knew damn well that this competition was my life

And I refuse to go down without a fight
