"I promise." I say.

She wraps her pinky around mine.

"You might feel differently about me after I tell you." She says.

"Nothing you say could make me feel different, Rob, I promise." I say.

I squeeze her pinky with mine and she does the same, then we drop our hands. She sits up and takes a deep breath in,

"So, I don't like guys." She says, looking up at me slowly.

"Okay?" I say, shaking my head.

"Do you get it?" She asks.

"You don't like guys..." I say, "...You're a lesbian."

Robin looks at me with wide eyes.

"Jeez, (Y/N)." She says.

I throw my hands up and smile.

"What? Am I right?" I ask.

"Well, yeah but... I didn't think you'd take it this well."

"Robin, I don't care if you like guys or you like girls. That's not going to change the way I see you at all. I love you no matter what." I say.

She smiles softly and nods her head.

"Can I tell you something?" I ask.

"Yeah." She says.

"I kind of had a feeling."

"Really? How?"

"I don't know, but, I saw how you looked at the girls that came in Scoops to see Steve. I know that look anywhere."

She puts her hands up to cover her face and looks at me through the cracks of her fingers.

"Was it that obvious?" She asks.

"No, but I have a special sense for those types of things." I say, "Steve is clueless. I honestly thought he had a crush on you at some point."

"No way, you should've heard how highly he talked about you. 'My friend (Y/N) is so amazing. She's the coolest person I've ever met. I don't know what I'd do without her.' He was so obsessed, it was honestly getting tiring hearing him talk about you like that since I also had feelings—" Robin quickly slaps a hand over her mouth and stops talking.

"You had feelings? For me?" I ask, putting a hand on my chest.

"I don't know why I said that." Robin says, putting her face in her hands.

I stare at her for a moment and then look down at the ground as well.

"I'm so sorry, Rob. I didn't know you felt that way."

I look back at her and she takes her face from her hands.

"It's not your fault. You didn't know and I knew it would never happen anyways." She says.

I softly smile at her and take another marshmallow from the bag, hitting her right in the eye.

"Ow!" She exclaims.

"Hey, that's payback!" I say as we laugh.

Robin eventually told Steve after he accidentally overheard us talking about Robin's crush, Vickie, while we were stocking shelves. Of course, Steve was completely supportive of her and wanted to give her his 'picking up chicks' advice, which was no help.

"Absolutely not." Robin says to Steve.

"Yes it is! And you know what else I think?" He says.

"I really don't care—"
